This is Better Sex Essentials' Strawberry Flavored Lubricant. It can be used in the bedroom for many purposes. Personally, I don't use lubricant during sex, but this lubricant can definitely be used for this purpose. It can be used for oral, anal and vaginal intercourse. I used it for toy play, specifically for clitoral lubrication. I don't recommend using it as a substitute for a massage lotion or anything similar, as it is far too short-lasting for such a use, but covering a bit of body area with this lubricant and licking it off may not go amiss!

Better Sex Essentials' Strawberry Lubricant is water-based and therefore can be used with pretty much any toy. This is a fantastic bonus if you use silicone toys, as it is good to use with them. I found it's easy to squeeze the lubricant out of its bottle; so easy, in fact, that I suggest being gentle with it! My last lube was in a stronger container and definitely didn't give as quickly to pressure, so I ended up with a bit too much!

This lubricant leaves you feeling naturally wet and blissfully non-oily. As mentioned above, it is a rather thin lube, so you may find yourself using it a bit more often, if you're more accustomed to thick lubricants.

The smell of the Better Sex Essentials lubricant is fantastic. If you simply open the bottle and whiff, it smells exactly like strawberry fruit rolls! I actually got a bit excited and hopeful that the taste was the same as the smell, but sadly this is not true.

I taste-tested this strawberry lubricant without my partner and found it to be a bit like lightly flavored strawberry cough syrup. I suppose, in the heat of the moment, it may be a bit more appealing, but from a casual observer, it's not that great of a flavor. Also, the lubricant does leave a bit of an oily aftertaste, which is unpleasant on its own. The aftertaste will definitely be a deterrent for me, in regards to using it orally.

I have not used this lubricant sexually, but I have used it in solo play with toys. I've found that it does not last as long as my previous lubricants, but it is still a perfectly good toy lube. I used a few small drops of this lubricant and did not have to reapply. However, I found that it was a perfect amount for a few minutes of use.

While I don't use lubricants sexually, I assume that if I were that I would need more lubricant than the above, as sex tends to last much longer (and involve more friction) than solo play.

After use I found there was no oily texture left behind, so clean up is not a hassle at all. There is no excess clean up involved so Better Sex Essentials wins my vote for a low maintenance lubricant.

The Better Sex Essentials strawberry lubricant is in a 4fl oz. bottle and clearly states its function on the front. The bottle clearly states both "Sex" and "Lubricant" on the front, so I don't recommend storing this out in the open. On the back is a list of directions, ingredients and warnings (sorry sexually open beholders everywhere, it says "avoid contact with eyes").

A closer look at the ingredients and notes on the back of the bottle might point out why the flavor was a bit bland with a "No artificial sweeteners" message. The packaging is recyclable and states that no animals were tested on in the creation of this product.

The cap is made of hard plastic and requires a single push to reveal the spout. Press on the spout to close the bottle and make sure you don't store it anywhere that it might rattle around and open itself! A toy box full of lubricant is no one's idea of a good time.
