This is by far my favorite silicone lube so I keep buying it, but wow, the bottle needs redesigning. It's awful. One of those thumb-clicky caps that you'd find on a bottle of no-ad sunscreen. It's very easy to close it incompletely and forget about it, and then come back to find a small silicone swamp forming on your rug. Because the lube is so runny, every bottle I've bought seems to exist in a perpetual state of half-leakage, even when the crappy cap is closed. This leakage gets all over the bottle so it's pretty much constantly covered in a thin slick of lube, and it's silicone, so it's difficult to clean the exterior of the bottle fully. As an added bonus, if there's even the slightest sheen of lube on the bottle, it will attract virtually every particle of dust and lint and every pet hair in your home. I now know what a total mood-killer it is to have your partner say "hang on, I just need to wipe the dog hair off the bottle" in the middle of foreplay..yikes. Something like this should really be in a stand-up pump bottle. I think it's too runny to be suitable for a squeeze tube.

Bottle aside, this is a fantastic lube. It is, like I said, very runny. This takes some getting used to. Don't squeeze the bottle..better to just click it open and tilt it to dribble some out. I use it for both vaginal and anal penetration. My vagina tends to be pretty sensitive to a lot of lubes, which restricts which water-based ones I can use..so I tried silicone. This one has never caused me any grief in terms of yeast infections, pH angst, or (yelp!) BV. Also, I don't need to worry about exposing my mucous membranes to any nasty stealth chemicals, because silicone lube is not absorbed into the body. I haven't noticed any skin reactions with this product- no blocked pores or irritation or anything. It makes anal sex much more comfortable and enjoyable, plus there's the added bonus of not needing to reapply as often as you would with water-based lube. In fact, for vaginal intercourse I rarely if ever need to reapply after the first use.

The product description lists full-body massage as a potential use for this lube and I laughed audibly when I read that. I mean sure, you *could* use this for a massage "oil".. and then be reminded of that massage for days by the lingering silicone slick on your skin. It doesn't wash off too easily in the shower, which I don't mind for my genitalia - my partner doesn't seem to mind it either - but it would definitely be a pain over larger surface areas, especially hard-to-wash areas like your back. This does mean that it's pretty great for shower sex, BUT you shouldn't actually pour it out and apply it in the shower because if any decent amount gets on the floor/tub your sex life will quickly turn into a slippery x-rated version of a three stooges film. The "caution: very slippery" warning on the product page should be taken to heart.

I've found that it doesn't leave very noticeable stains on medium-dark sheets after they're washed, but if you're protective of your linens, then it's something to consider. No silicone lube is going to be as washable as a water-based lubricant. My other regret is that I can't use it with most of my toys because they're silicone as well- but that's just a fact of life and not a reason to dislike the lube.

Be careful using it in the shower (slip hazard!), store it upright with the cap tightly closed and always, always transport it in a ziploc bag or everything you own will be lubed up and ready to go.
