Astroglide Natural - lubricant discontinued by BioFilm - review by SexyG

My Astroglide Natural lube came from Edenfantasys in a discreet box. The lube itself is in a natural looking brown box with a little leaf on it to reiterate the fact that it's a natural lube. There's a cut out on the box to show the tube of lubricant. The package states the lube is water based, water soluble, latex safe, soft & smooth, and long lasting. The tube is 2.5 fl oz. which makes it perfect for travel.

The lube is clear, has no odor or taste. There's a protective cover on the inside cap of the tube. The lube thin - very thin - which had me wondering if I needed to reapply often. Well I found out, and quickly. This lube is so thin, it's almost the consistency of water. I had to apply to my vibrator so often that it wasn't fun after a while. When I mean often, it was about three or four times. For me, that's way too much work when I want to have fun. Astroglide says this lube is long lasting. Long lasting for whom?

The other downside to Astroglide Naturals is it burns and it seems to be drying. I even tried using this as a basic vaginal lubricant and it still burned.

The product has natural ingredients like xylitol, Vitamins C & E, Aloe Vera, Pectin and Chamomile Flower Extract. It's free of glycerin, fragrance, alcohol, hormones and flavoring. I could be sensitive to the "natural" ingredients in this lube, but who knows. I put natural in quotes because there's nothing on the package that says from where the natural ingredients are derived.

I don't want to sound like a downer, but I really don't like this lube at all. If you like other Astroglide products and you're happy with them, then try this. If you have an allergy to any of the ingredients, please use discretion.

The texture is smooth like it says. It's quite thin, almost like water. I didn't find it to be messy since I was careful in squirting the lube on my sex toy.


The lube isn't sticky or greasy, but it evaporates easily. I had to reapply quite often to keep my toy and myself lubricated. It even dried out my clit when I used it as a personal lubricant. It burned also.

Astroglide Naturals doesn't have a taste or odor to it. This might be good for other types of sex play as well.

This product didn't last long at all which is a disappointment. According to the package it says "long lasting." Well for whom is it long lasting? I found Astroglide Naturals evaporated quite quickly and had to be reapplied often which is frustrating when you want to have fun, not work.

It washes off easily. Soap and water to clean your toy or yourself is sufficient.

Use your money on a different lube. I recommend one that's thicker, doesn't burn and lasts a long long time!
