Light bodyglide - lubricant discontinued by Pjur® - review by Ben-eround

So, everyone who uses lubricant during sex play has either heard of or seen a Pjur product for sale. I purchased this to use during vaginal intercourse and hopefully anal play as well.

It turns out this is an all around product. This can be used for toy, vaginal, anal, masturbation and as I was pleasantly surprised to find out; it works during massages.

This lube is velvety smooth from the first time to months down the line. A very small amount can be added, but for drier areas you may use more, however, you will be surprised how far a little bit will get you. The consistency is smooth and not tacky, which is a pet peeve I have with lubes. Surprisingly though, you see a lot of anal lubes being sticky and thick and that seems to work, but this one is smooth and keeps that smoothness for both vaginal and anal play.

This had a surprisingly neutral odor to it unlike other lubes that find the need to scent themselves. I was amazed at how even after using this for vaginal or anal intercourse I could still go down on my partner and was not overwhelmed with the taste of a noxious lube that had an industrial flavor. Instead, I could actually taste my partner through the lube. I don't need to say how appreciated this is for both of us. That being said, if you need a lube to mask the flavor of your partner, this would not be the product to get at all.

This product gets you started in the bedroom if you want to massage this on your partner's skin. Then, even after, you can't necessarily feel the slickness from the product; it leaves the skin feeling soft and replenished. It is so annoying when lubes leave your skin itchy and dry as soon as they have done their job. Next, once you start using this on an orifice, if you or your partner are wet naturally, this will kick up that smooth entry like you were gushing with natural lube. And if you're dry, a little more, I'd say about a pearl size will keep things going, even for those times that fast passionate love making occurs. I will say that you might need to reapply some during sex, however, when this one wears out you don't get that tacky painful sensation that so many others do. That being said, the bottle is great for easy reapplication.

The packaging was very simple if I recall correctly. It may have just been the bottle and a shrink wrap.
The container itself is compact, east to handle and ingenious. I would air on the side of caution that when you are not using this product to thoroughly close the lid or if you are keeping it nearby for reapplication; make sure the bottle is on a stable surface. The reason being is that this product, if dropped, will make for a tricky cleanup. It isn't so much a case of the contents will come barreling out as it is just a little bit of product will make any floor surface incredibly slick and dangerous.

I can without a doubt say that this product was just as perfect from day one as it was on the 10th month of usage. And it lasts a long time regardless of how much sex you're having. Just remember to use it in moderation because it really does go a long way.
