Sheer lace thigh high - thigh highs discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by subhny

I wish I had some very positive things to say about these hose, but words fail me at this time. These thigh highs had a pull with a big fuzzy lint ball straight out of the package. Actually my fiance noticed it while they were still in the package. We knew this was not a good sign, but decided to try them out any way. They are sturdy as they remind me of old lady support nylon hose. I am a plus size girl, and other plus size girls know what I mean when I speak of rubbing thighs. They make a very obvious sound when your thighs rub together. It sounds a bit like sand paper rubbing together. Also they aren't very silky feeling; the texture is a bit rough and scratchy. I was planning to wear these with a corset and tutu to a fetish event and ended up replacing them with another brand that was softer and silkier and that made it to my thighs. Also they don't form fit to the leg so for some smaller legs they will give the elephant leg appearance.

The lace top did stay up nicely and the lace is very pretty and feminine. I think I forgot to elaborate when I mentioned they only made it half way between my knee and my thighs. Since they are like the old fashioned nylons they don't have a lot of stretch, and I stand about 5 foot 8 inches tall.

I can only recommend these to a petite plus size girl who is into the retro hose. They definitely have the look and feel of the retro nylon pantyhose of the past. If you are above 5 foot 5 inches in height, I do not really think they will make it to your thighs .
