White cross back dress - mini dress discontinued by Espiral - review by Ansley

My mother never told me to be a lady in the parlor and a whore in the bedroom, but that doesn't mean I was never given such advice. (And I took that advice in spades.) This dress gives the illusion of class and sophistication in the front, while the back reveals the vixen inside.

I have always been super fond of cowl necklines because I have a small bustline. I feel it gives a little oomph to outfits on the whole. Espiral did a really nice job designing the neckline on this piece. I think it's easy to adjust and once you get it to lay where you want it to, it doesn't really move around a lot. It does move when you bend over, so if you're going to be doing that a lot then be prepared to readjust the neckline on occasion.

This dress is ridiculously simplistic in design and even easier to get into once you've hand washed it and drip-dried the garment. You might want to do this over the tub if you can, or outside might be a better option so the floor doesn't get wet. It's mostly polyester and if there's any spandex in there at all, it's in very minimal amounts. It's probably best to avoid wringing or tugging on the dress.

The fabric is just a wee bit sheer, but it's not thin per se. You can see the difference between the color of my nipples and the rest of my breasts, so pasties would probably be a really good investment if you plan to go clubbing in this dress. Don't even think about wearing panties underneath this unless they are super thin and without texture. They'll show right through and I don't think you'll be able to get a pair of panties that are low enough that they don't stick out at the top on the back of the dress.

The back sits just above the very top of my tail bone, it doesn't slip or fall down and emphasizes the roundness of my ass. The straps form an "X" in the back and sit perfectly between my shoulder blades. It took a minute to get them to twist correctly, but once they were in place they stayed like that for the duration of the evening. The dress sits just above my knees.

It's really well made and I definitely think this one is going to hold up for awhile. All of the stitching is nice and tight. Unfortunately, you can't bleach or use an iron on this dress. BUT! You can use vinegar to remove most stains that aren't protein based. A spot treatment that does not have bleach in it, could be used for heavy stains if the need should arise. Crumpling this up and throwing it into the corner is going to leave you with wrinkles, but a quick steam shower will release those in a heartbeat. Or, I suppose you could use a commercial wrinkle-release agent if you wanted to go that route. Either way, it's up to you.

Just looking at the dress makes me feel sexy, and wearing it makes me feel like a Goddess. It's form fitting to the hilt so if you're in between sizes you might want to order up instead of down. The material, itself, feels like sportswear but a little less slick if that makes sense. Pair it with your sexiest heels and some fun accessories and have a night in with your lover. If you're daring enough, you'll be the main attraction at any club.

For once, the pictures of the model in this dress really do the garment justice. If this dress appeals to you, I assure you that you won't be disappointed when it arrives.

I ordered the small and it fits me like a glove. So, like I said if you think you're in between sizes then order up!

I still like it, I just don't really have the change it to wear it very often, it's certainly not something I'd wear in public even though it is tempting on a few occasions.
