Red lace garter bralet and thong set - bra and panty set discontinued by Rene Rofe - review by Mamastoys

The Red Lace Garter Bralet and Thong Set by Rene Rofe is so cute and lacy that it will be a hit with anyone. The meshy flowers that make up the set are not only sexy, but the set is very comfortable to wear. The set comes in black or red. Rene Rofe didn't go with the one size fits most in this set but rather offers a selection of SM or ML. Their sizing chart doesn't specifically provide measurements for these selections, but the combination of the sizes in the chart are pretty close to accurate.

I chose the ML mainly because of the poor sizing of other outfits I have ordered from Rene Rofe. The measurements that this should fit include: sizes 10-16, bust 27-41 inches, waist 28 1/2 -32 1/2 inches, and hips 39 1/2-42 1/2. I fall in the lower percentage of the measurements but this set fit great. The adjustable straps allow for letting out of tightening up the bust area and the garter straps.



The bust is 7 inches wide at the bottom of the area. It narrows down to 1 inch wide. It is 6 inches in height. There is a seam that runs down the middle but the bust offers no support, no under wire, and no padding. There is a red bow situated in the middle of the busts. The straps are adjustable and go from 11 inches to 17 inches. It is a stretchy thin strap, similar to a bra strap.







The band that runs beneath the bust area is slightly wider but continues to be stretchy. It has the hook type closure in the back. The band is 36 inches around.

Below the band are two spender type strips of lacy mesh. It measures 11 inches long and narrows from 7 inches to 1/2 inch. Attached to the end of the suspenders are adjustable straps which secure the garter hooks. The straps adjust from 2 inches to 4 inches. The garter hooks are the standard hooks and have a ribbon strip covering them.



The thong that comes with the set is the standard thong made up of the same lacy material and the sane strap that goes around the bust area. The front of the thong has 7 inches of lace and narrows down to the strap that runs up the backside. Seven inches down the front is the panty liner strip that comes standard with the thongs on such sets as this. The panty liner goes from 2 inches to 1/2 inch.





The set arrived in a clear plastic bag and a cardboard insert. This is the typical package that Rene Rofe uses with this line of products. The set is made of nylon and spandex which is easy to care for and fairly sturdy. Hand washing in cold water and line drying are the best way to care for this. Avoid bleach, putting it in the dryer and dry cleaning to make it last long.





This outfit is travel friendly as far as packing it goes. It folds up to a very small piece and can be carried in a carry on or in a check bag. However, if someone were to pull it out, it would be obvious as to what it was and could lead to some embarrassing moments.

The bralet/garter set gets 4 out of 5 stars from me. The only things I would improve on are adding some support in the breasts. Those of us with heavy breasts would enjoy this more if there was something to support them. Also, it would be nice to have plus sizes available in these line of products.

When I first put this set on, I fell in love with it. It was easy to get into and with some minor adjustments, the fit was perfect. I added some red thigh highs with it and amazed the hubby. This was a perfect set for Christmas! It was easy to remove but was comfortable with it on too. Actually, it could be left on during intercourse if you chose to do so but part of the fun for us was having him undress me. This is a definite winner for me and will stay close to the front of the closet for repeated use.
