The design of the Sensual Lace Cami set by Croquette is simply beautiful. The vibrant purple mesh stands out against the black lace overlay featured in the cups of the bra as well as a center strip ending at your stomach. The purple bow attached to the back of the cami is cute, flirty, and takes the focus off your butt. The sheer mesh material is soft, sensual, and allows your body to breathe. But as beautiful as this little number is, it just didn’t look that beautiful on me.

As a woman of size I have a series of curves but didn’t expect this to create a problem. Sadly it did. The stretchy mesh material clung tightly to my curves, almost like I was wearing spandex. This made me feel quite self conscious and I haven’t been able to show it off to my Husband because of that. If I was a skinny-minnie with a flat stomach like the model this outfit is on, I’m sure I would have felt great and beautiful.

The Cami has wimpy underwire support built into the lightly lined cups and is not suitable for women whose cup size exceeds a C. Unless you have perky breasts that don’t need supported, otherwise you will notice a little sagging. This can be slightly fixed by adjusting the straps of the cami, which work just like most bras. In no way is this a push up style bra like the description boasts. If you have bigger breasts, you can cut the padding out of the cups and have your girls displayed through the purple mesh for an even sexier look. Who will notice the support issues then?

The Y back thong matches the Cami perfectly with its purple mesh with black lace overlay, but the crotch triangle is TINY! Not only is the triangle tiny, but the size also seems to run small. I fit a L in Victoria Secret thongs but had difficulty with the straps digging into my hips. It fits more of a M/S size than a L size. You can easily swap out the included thong for a normal black, purple, or black and purple thong and still look great.

The instructions say to hand wash and let air dry, but being a rebel I machine washed cold on delicate and let it air dry. Since this product is very well made, It stood up fine without any shrinkage or other problems. According to my google-fu you can wash mesh fabrics in warm water up to 30F and place it on low tumble air dry setting in your dryer without any problems as well.

Overall the Sensual Lace Cami is beautiful and would be a great addition to any woman’s collection as long as you order a size larger than you need. I believe my problems came from my own larger size and ordering my proper size from the charts. Having a material that is ‘clingy’ and ordering your proper size will always cause some sort of unwanted chaos. So order a size larger and throw on a pair of knee high black or purple tights with some high heels you’ll be well on your way to feeling sexy.

It's a beautiful gothy feeling outfit, I just need to lose a little weight to help it fit better. It's a bummer, but I don't have any doubts I won't love it once I do.

After losing some weight and toning my waist area, the Sensual Lace Cami definitely fits better and has stopped riding up. Sadly, despite the weight loss and toning, the mesh material still is clingy. I don't mind as much now that I feel better about my body, but others might.

The y-back tiny thong still sucks and I hate it. Instead of attempting to wear it, I have substituted a simple black thong.

After washing a handful more times the material has yet to fade in color or diminish in quality.

Overall, buy it. It's still worth it.
