Spicy babydoll and G-string - babydoll and panties set by Seven 'til Midnight - review by BobbiJay

The Spicy babydoll and g-string by Seven 'til Midnight is sadly a little disappointing. I thought it would be great and adjustable because of the bows in front. I was more than a little disappointed when I opened the package and realized the bows were just sewn on and not adjustable at all. I have included pictures at the bottom but there is some nipple showing.

The Spicy Babydoll is a halter which dips low in the back and has two strips of ribbon in the front the keep it permanently closed. The halter is a single piece of ribbon that is not adjustable and tie in the front rather than the back like a "normal" halter.

There is no under-wire or breast support. The material is so thin it didn't hold anything in place and I felt it might have ripped if a rough or sudden movement was made. The ribbon was frayed at several ends and the bows that were sewn on were not sewn on very well.

The G-string is made of the same materials and actually seems to be made better than the Babydoll does. With the exception that there is left over material that shows on the inside on the front.

When you order the Babydoll you get two pieces, the actual babydoll and the G-string. They are made out of polyester and spandex. The G-string does have a liner in it but unfortunately it is made out of polyester and not cotton. So if you are prone to infections or just like to be safe, it might not be the best choice for you.

It is recommended to hand wash and line dry, however, I used a lingerie bag and it was just fine in the washer. I did line dry it just to protect the spandex and keep it "stretchy." You should not iron because it could actually cause the item to melt or burn. You never bleach it because it will ruin the color.



The Spicy Babydoll and G-string only comes in two sizes: One size fits most and plus size. I have the plus size. It is supposed to fit someone who is a size 16 to a size 22. I am an 18. the cup size is supposed to be from a C to a DD. I am a DD. However, it did not fit very well at all. It was tight in all the wrong places. The G-string fits okay, but I just don't like the itchy material.

The measurement it is supposed to fit are as follows:
Bust-40 - 50
Waist-36 - 44
Hips-42 - 56


The packaging it comes in is a thin cardboard box with a model wearing the babydoll and G-string on the cover.



While this babydoll and G-string might be good for someone who is smaller than me, it just did not work for me at all. It is supposed to be plus sized but I feel it won't fit anyone larger than a 16 at most. I wanted so much to like this one but it was just too small and cheaply made.

Between the way it fit and the way it was made I just couldn't see myself wearing this more than once or twice for review purposes. So you can better see the fit I have included pictures. The first one is a front view. As you can see there is not much bust support and it fits snugly.




The second is the back and just shows how far it goes down in the back and the fit as well.

Since my original review, this piece has been pushed to the back of my bottom drawer. I pulled it out, tried it again, and still do not like it because it is still uncomfortable. I have lost weight since then, but it still does not fit or look right on me. I hope someone will like this set, but back into the bottom of the drawer it goes, for me.
