What is it?:

The lace opaque garter dress by Dreamgirl is a one-piece dress, garter, and thigh-highs all in one. It is available in only black and comes in OSFM and Plus Size; I have the plus size.

This can be worn in the bedroom or anywhere else in the house if it’s just you and your partner, to arouse interest from your partner. You can also wear this outfit under your favorite minidress.

Material: 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex

Nylon is a tough and strong material with a lot of stretch. It is hypo-allergenic and resists oils, greases, and solvents.

Spandex is known for its exceptional stretchability. It is also strong and durable and will retain its original shape.

This outfit is very stretchy, soft, and comfortable. Rough skin and nails will snag this material. I have a tiny Chihuahua puppy, and he kept trying to jump on my legs while I was wearing the dress, so beware of pet claws! This outfit collects lint and hair, especially pet hair.

Design:

The dress has an opaque panel sewn into the front with stretch lace around the rest of the body. A neck band is attached at the top of this front panel and a single snap on the back side. There is a band sewn along the bottom of the dress and at the top of the stockings. The garters are of the same material as these bands. There is reinforcement at the toe of the stockings.



Measurements of the garter dress:

Garter length = 4 1/2 inches, stretches to 12 1/2 inches and is 1 inch thick.
Band on the stocking = 5 inches wide, stretches to 12 inches and is 1 inch thick.
Neck band = 12 inches wide, stretches to 23 inches and is 1 inch thick.
Band bottom of dress = 10 inches wide, stretches to 22 inches and is 1 inch thick.
Opaque band on front = 4 inches wide and stretches to 13 inches.

Sizing: This garter dress seems to be true to size.

Bust = 40” – 54”
Waist = 36” – 44”
Hip = 42” – 56”
Weight = 165 – 275 lbs.

This outfit fit me very surprisingly well. When I first looked at this piece it looked like it would be difficult to put on, but it actually was not. The bands at the top of the stockings and the bottom of the dress were a bit snug on me. As I walked around in this dress, every part of it stayed in place. I am 5’ 4” tall. This will fit women who are taller than I am as well.

Storing, Care & Packaging:

You can store this garter dress on a hanger or in a drawer. I personally store mine in a zipper bag to help keep the lint and pet hairs off of it and to keep it from getting snagged on anything.




The package says to hand wash separately in cold water and line dry. Do not use bleach.

The garter dress was packaged with a cardboard insert inside one leg with the rest of the dress folded behind it. It was wrapped inside a clear plastic envelope that was packed inside a cardboard box showing a model wearing the dress on the front and back of the box. The box has “Dreamgirl” on it and also has the size, color, style number and care instructions printed on it.
