Triangle pattern jacquard pantyhose - pantyhose discontinued by Baci - review by Breas

The Triangle Pattern Jacquard Pantyhose by Baci arrived in a thin rectangular cardboard box. The front of the packaging has a photo of a model wearing the pantyhose, along with the company website. The back of the packaging has a back view of the model wearing the pantyhose along with the product name, size, material composition and care instructions. The pantyhose are only available in one-size-fits-most.

Inside of the cardboard packaging, the pantyhose are wrapped around a slim cardboard piece, surrounded by plastic. Personally, I don’t find the packaging to be good for storage when the pantyhose are not in use. I like keeping my pantyhose in my sock drawer.



There is no care tag on the stockings, but the packaging states that the material composition is 95% nylon and 5 % spandex. The waistband at the top of the pantyhose is 1 ¼ inches and is a double layer of material. The top ten inches of the pantyhose are a solid black colour, while the rest of the pantyhose are rows of triangles. The more you need to stretch the pantyhose, the more sheer the top black area of the pantyhose becomes. The material is very stretchy, much like most pairs of pantyhose.

I’ve taken measurements of the pantyhose laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements please let me know.

Waistband unstretched: 8 ½ inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 24 inches

The pantyhose can be stretched well over 60 inches when not on my legs. There is no liner in the crotch of the pantyhose. The toe area of the pantyhose is reinforced.

I was really excited to wear these pantyhose because I thought the pattern was so fabulous and unique. The pantyhose were easy to put on, though you need to straighten them so that the triangle pattern runs vertically along the leg rather than around the leg.

I had tried pantyhose from the Baci brand before and didn’t have any issues with the length, though with this specific pair, I did. I’m 5’6 in height and the pantyhose crotch area was about 4 inches below my actual crotch. I was surprised because my height is fairly average, though the pantyhose seem to be made for those shorter than 5’6. No matter how much I tried to grasp as much pantyhose as I could to pull them up just a bit more, they still sat far too low. The pantyhose were fine in width for my thicker thighs, but length, not so much. These pantyhose would be best for those 5’4 and lower in height.

The pantyhose are very comfortable against the skin and stretch to fit for those with more width in their legs. I did not experience any irritation to my skin while wearing the pantyhose. The pantyhose did not snag as easily as some of the other pairs of Baci pantyhose I had tried previously.

The packaging states that the pantyhose should be hand washed separately in cold water and line dried. The pantyhose should not be bleached.

Below you can see a photo of the pantyhose on me. In the second side photo, you can see where the triangle pattern ends and the black area begins. I love the way the pattern looks on my legs but the crotch sits far too low to be comfortable when I walk around.



Overall, I’ve given the pantyhose a 4 out of 5 simply because the length will not stretch for those who are my height or taller. They are a great pair of pantyhose with a fabulous design, but they should be available for those taller than 5’4.

So even though I knew these pantyhose were too short in length for me, I wore them out anyway. This was a bad idea.

I went out dancing and I guess while I was "dropping it like it's hot", I went a bit too low. The pantyhose tore at the top where the solid colour meets the pattern. It tore all the way around, with just a small piece of the patterned area hanging on to the solid area of the pantyhose.

I thought I could possibly get away with wearing them even though they were too short for me but clearly I was wrong. It's sad because I really love the pattern to the pantyhose. Avoid these pantyhose if you're my height (5'6) or taller.
