BJ university - costume discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Hardware

The BJ University costume is really just another name for a schoolgirl outfit. Like most men, my boyfriend loved this outfit. The whole thing comes in 5 pieces. The pieces are the two hair bands with red ribbons attached, the BJU knit top, the plaid skirt, and plaid thong. Most parts are made of polyester too, so that makes this outfit an one size fits most being that it can stretch and conform to most body shapes up to 160lbs.

The outfit itself does look schoolgirl appropriate, except for the "BJU" logo across the top piece. That in turn makes it something you definitely don't want to flaunt off to the wrong people. The top itself is actually see through where the black fabric is if the light hits it just right. It is elastic too so it will stretch and conform pretty well to your breasts. The top is held in place by straps that go around your chest and over your shoulders where they tie off in the back.

The thong is pretty straight forward. Its also elastic, its outlined in black, and the actual covering fabric is plaid. Again, tag placement is kinda bad as its white and is sewn into the fabric line on the butt. The hair ties were fairly interesting. Instead of just giving you hair ribbons to tie into your hair, they attached the bows to hair ties. This i think is a better approach than just the ribbons alone.

My favorite part of this whole outfit was definitely the skirt. Instead of being made from a thick bulky fabric that is rigid and a bit uncomfortable, they went a bit further and made it out of polyester. This makes it a very light and flexible fabric, so it conforms well to the body and flows well. The tag is sewn into the inside and really doesn't cause too much of a headache, but I would still recommend cutting it off.

Other thoughts:

-If you need to wash this outfit, wash with a gentle detergent and do it by hand. High heat or ironing will ruin this.
-The hairband design is great and wasn't just tossed in as a last minute thought.
-the top and its black fabric seems to have been poorly decided upon. It doesn't seem like this outfit should be see through in the right light
-Great skirt design! Ive had several other plaid skirts and most others are made out of a rigid cloth. This one flows well on the body.
