Lace garter belt and g-string - garters discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Mihoshi4301

This set includes a lace garter belt and matching thong from Fantasy Lingerie. The size is one size fits most. It is a very sexy set and comfortable to wear. However, the thong is definitely not a G-string and no stockings are included.

Garter Belt:

The garter belt is black lace with a floral lace pattern. There is a tiny black bow in the middle of the top of the belt. The edges have scalloped lace with the scalloping at the top being thicker and smaller than the scalloping at the bottom. The back still has the scalloped lace on the edge, but has mesh material instead of lace.

Sizing:
The garter belt should fit comfortably on a 24 to 32 inch waist. It could also fit a 36 to 38 inch waist but it would be tight. The whole waist band is elastic so it stretches easily. There is also a non-lace elastic band in the back with a hook to easily remove and put on the garter. This has a sliding clasp to change the length of the band and goes from 2 1/2 inches to 5 inches.

There are four garters on the garter belt: two in the front (one for each leg) and two in the back (one for each leg). The garters on the belt also have sliding clasps to change the length. They go from 5 1/2 inches to 9 1/4 inches.

Thong:


The thong matches the garter belt. It has a floral lace pattern in the front and mesh in the back. It also has the scalloped lace on the sides and a small black bow in the center of the top seam in the middle. There is a large white tag in the middle of the top seam in the back that is very noticeable through the lace. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to remove it without damaging the seams.

Sizing:
The thong is smaller than the garter belt and would comfortably fit a 24 inch to 30 inch waist, but can also stretch up to 34 inches. The thong part of the undies measures 2 inches at its narrowest part and 3 inches at the widest. The undies do have a panty liner and it is 2 inches long. The sides are 1 1/2 inches wide. The thong from the middle of the top seam to the middle of the panty liner is 8 inches long unstretched, and 10 1/2 inches long stretched.

Care instructions:
The tag states: "Machine wash warm gentle wash darks separately. Tumble dry low. Remove promptly do not twist or wring."

Overall, this is a very cute piece. The lace edges are a little bit scratchy-- it's not horrible, but if you have sensitive skin or can't stand anything scratchy, I'd pass this one up. The thong is also so wide that it's almost not a thong, but I like it anyway. Though scratchy, the lace is very cute and I love how the thong matches the garter belt exactly. There were no loose edges or fraying in the stitching, so this seems to be a well put together set.
