Jewel G-string - g-string discontinued by Charm Wear - review by LambChop

This adorable sheer all-black thong arrived in a 4" x 6"-ish zip-lock pouch decorated with a pink top border and all-around white lace border print. Save the pouch because it will come in handy for storage (more on that later).

The g-string front panel is a standard panty fabric - sheer black polyester mesh. The "strings" of the g-string are made of a soft and comfortably smooth 1/4" elastic (also black) and these do not bind. There is a white tag with care instructions that will show through the front mesh when in use, but that is easily cut out. The back of the thong is a really gorgeous rhinestone medallion as shown in the photo. The biggest stone is in the center, faceted, and about the size of a dime. This black thong will complement any lingerie collection by adding a little extra sparkle!

Care instructions according to the tag are, "gentle wash, do not use bleach, dry flat and iron on cool setting," but gentle hand-washing and air-drying would be best. It does not seem that these panties could stand around in the washer and certainly don't iron this!

Storing the panties in the zip-lock pouch will keep the rhinestone back from snagging your other lingerie.

I am an average size, but I always have my doubts about anything advertised as "one size fits all" because that usually means "size 0-2" or just "one size fits 0." This thong would truly comfortably fit anyone up to about a size 12.

Warning: Be careful when putting this on and pulling it up or down because the rhinestone links will break easily. This broke during my first use, which was disappointing. The construction does not seem sturdy enough to stand up to frequent use.

Unfortunately, this should be considered a novelty item and not for regular wear.
