Handcuff hottie - costume discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Lil

Handcuff Hottie is the cutest of the cop outfits. With its sheer material and skimpy design, it is sure to please. It was comfortable to wear and looked good on me. This set includes 4 pieces; a small hat, halter top, boy shorts, and g-string. It comes with 2 badges as well; one for the hat and one for the top. The halter top badge comes affixed but you will have to attach the one for the hat yourself. It is made of polyester mesh and nylon. The sheer portions are all black with blue trim all over. This outfit comes in sizes S/M or M/L. I ordered the S/M.

The halter top has a great collar and I was really happy with the way it sat on my body. It did not look too puffy or awkward. I thought it sat pretty flat against my chest. The back closure I expected to be a tie but it is a big hook and eye closure. The front tie is not really adjustable. Between that and the hook and eye, I feel like it is not as adaptable as most costumes. I am a 36B and I found that it fit me rather well but I would have to agree with other reviewers that someone with smaller breasts may not like it as much. I feel like it might look a baggy, or at least not as form-fitting. It was comfortable to wear and the material felt good on my skin. The mesh was not as coarse as I expected, thankfully. The top comes with an attached badge too, and it is small enough that it did not really seem to get in the way.

The hat is a half-hat, like a candy stripper's. It has an elastic band to go around your head and no backside. I was a little disappointed when I pulled it out of the package, but I found that it looked good on. Although, it is the first thing to come flying off because it is just a bit flimsy. Also, you have to attach the badge yourself but it is no big deal. It is mostly blue trim on the top with a black glossy brim.

The shorts and g-string are made from the same material as the top; a black mesh with blue trim on the shorts. The shorts have a gold button on the front and some gold stripes down the side for embellishments. The g-string is pretty basic but it is more pleasant to wear than a lot of cheap g-strings that come with these costumes. However, I prefer not to wear it sometimes because I think it looks weird layered under the boy shorts. I am usually an x-small, or size 6 for underwear and these fit me really well. They were not overly tight or too loose either. I was very happy with the fit.

This costume works nicely as a whole. The pieces look good together and all feel comfortable on the body. Many of the other cop outfits are skirts with blouses or short dresses. I like the two piece design of this costume and I think it is a bit sexier. I also thought the colors are nicely matched and sophisticated looking. It gives you the idea of the uniform without making it too cutesy, like the pink officer outfits often do.

I tried to surprise my boyfriend with this outfit and unfortunately I did not have a great time. I think I was a little self-conscious because I am much more of a submissive person, and I wanted to do it for him because he has a small cop fantasy. I caught him off guard and he giggled at me unintentionally which really make me feel unsexy. I have kind of avoided this costume like the plague since but it is really not fair because it is such a nice piece. I think I have to give it another go.
