Captain Kirk... the Klingons have arrived!!!

With all this I hope those women whose figure and height will allow, would consider purchasing this garment. It is well crafted, comfortable and affordable. A great buy. If your not one of those women, look at the rest of the line Eden carries. They have a great selection at affordable prices that will not have you feeling like you landed on the Starship Enterprise.

OK the title rather makes you wonder if I liked this item or not. The answer is… well... yea, kind of. Here is the scoop.

The gown is made out of mostly spandex. The Nylon is in those little straps on the sides. It says ones size fits all. That is probably a very true statement. However, what will you look like when you get it on? Well let me put a few things in perspective for you.

First let me just say I personally do like this gown. The spandex is soft and comfortable. It moves with you and it breaths very well. It is not that rubbery feel you might think of. It is very very comfortable to wear. It even washes up real nice and hangs to dry very quickly. At the price, it is very reasonable and very affordable. I will wear this often during the hot summer months.

Now let me tell you about some of the things you might just want to consider before you purchase this for yourself. That woman in the picture modeling the gown, both the mannequin and the live model, must be around six foot tall. I am five foot four inches tall. The gown comes very close to the floor on me. If you are shorter than I am, it will most likely drag the ground. There is really no adjusting it either. Unless you want to tie the shoulder strap in a knot to draw it up. Wouldn't that be attractive, when you come into the bedroom looking like you have two big growths on your shoulders?

Next we should remember what spandex does before we slide into this garment. It is made to hug your body, every curve. Oh yes, and every bump, bulge and butt dimple as well. The gown really does cling to you. Now I work out on a regular basis and take pretty good care of myself. On me, this does not look terribly bad. However, if you are having problems with bulges you are not too excited about accenting, this gown will not be a great help in that area. Again, I am not overweight, but I am in my forties. Everything is not exactly where it was 20 years ago. That is why I wrote the title “Captain Kirk… the Klingons have arrived!” One size fits all I am sure, but all would not look good in it.
Follow-up commentary
Nothing has changed.... Including the shape of my body... It is still a comfortable fit... but still fitts really close to every single curve... This is a candlelight or no light gown...

I love your review.. you are so right when you said that everyting is not where it was 20 years ago. I work out regularly too but still fight the bulge!

Nice review, and props for the Trek reference! A quick question about the length: for those with sewing skills, do you think the bottom could be hemmed to shorten it? The fabric would probably fight the sewing machine tooth and nail, but if it already has a small hem at the bottom, it shouldn't be impossible to make it deeper, if one was so inclined.

As ofr sewing it. Remember the word SPANDEX. If you are an experienced seamstress you might be able to do that. But I like you am afraid that you would break a lot of needles trying. You might be better off just cutting the bottom off and then searing the fabric.. Although that might leave a scratchy edge. I would just look for something else that is adjustable and ready to wear out of the box.

Hmm. Nice review. I personally find this to look frumpy, despite the lace straps at the side. It seems like they tried but just ran out of ideas.

Love the star trek reference. Hey they are coming out with a new star trek movie soon. Maybe you will see this gown on there? OK Maybe not.
