Piping accent chemise and thong - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Molly Carter

This chemise and thong set by DreamGirl exceeded my expectations for the price. Arriving in a plastic bag on a hanger, the nightie was more sheer than I expected. When I pulled it out and put it on for the first time, I must admit, I was worried; I'm not the size five I once was. But let me tell you, this piece is way more flattering that I thought it would be.

Made of polyester and spandex, the chemise is white, and has thin, bright blue piping as an accent. The front panel is solid and silky, while the rest of the piece is sheer. The whole thing stretches in every direction, which is a nice element, as the material doesn't pucker or bunch where one material meets another. The piping runs down both sides of the silky panel and along the top of the underwire cups. There is a second line of piping across the cups, which falls slightly above the nipple.



As I said, the cups have underwires, but I ordered the large, and my D-cup breasts did not quite fit. I had to arrange myself a bit to stop my breasts from seeping through into the side panels, and once I did, I was overflowing the top, but not to the point where I was falling out. And once I put my breasts into place, they stayed there pretty well, at least until my hubby and I ended up in bed, where I then spilled out the top after some frisky play. There is a thin, (what I assume to be) cotton liner in the cups, which made them very comfortable, and kept my nipples from blatantly peeking through the thin material.

The chemise has thin, adjustable shoulder straps on each side, as well as a strap that ties behind your neck. The double straps did assist with keeping my breasts in place, but if tied too tight, it will be uncomfortable on the back of your neck.

The bottom of the chemise has a ruffle, made of the same sheer material as the nightie, which runs the whole way around the piece. This adds a little flair, and on me poofed out a little, adding some volume across my thighs. The bottom seam, where the chemise and the ruffle attach, falls right below my cheeks on my 5'5", 160-pound frame.



Hand-wash this chemise, and air-dry. I hang mine, which cuts down on wrinkles and creases. If you are brave, you might be able to wash it in a lingerie bag on gentle, but this goes against the instructions and the sheer material is rather thin and could easily rip or tear.

The thong is a typical white thong, made of the same silky material as the front panel. It's a basic thong, and fit well. The back of the thong does not go down to a string, so it is thicker than some I've had, and there will be a little bit of material between your cheeks.

I found this piece very comfortable to wear, and actually fell asleep in it after a play night with my hubby. The material is not itchy or scratchy, and I have even worn this while cuddling and watching TV, especially when I wanted to feel a little extra sexy.

The overall fit is way better than I thought it would be, given the completely sheer back. It hugs my curves, flatters my shape, and does not draw attention to my problem areas.

I still like this piece. It's cute and comfortable, and is still holding up well, even after multiple wears and rough play. Excellent piece!
