Breathtaking babydoll - babydoll and panties set by DreamGirl - review by LK

This was the first time I'd ever ordered a babydoll or in fact any lingerie online, so I was guestimating as far as size/fit/etc. I'm on the bigger side of 34C and a medium most of the time in normal clothing sizes, so I ordered a medium, which fit nicely. The cups have less coverage than normal bra cups, but it works to show off your "assets" to their best advantage while still keeping your nipples from hanging out. The purple fabric is a sturdy, heavy brocade, but it does bunch up a bit if you're like me and have a bit of a belly roll. The sides are very thin, clingy, see-through fabric. The underwire in the cups is really supportive-- I felt like I could walk around without my chest jiggling or being uncomfortable.

The included thong was nothing to write home about, but it fit me (I wear a size 7 in jeans if that helps). I'm not sure if it varies in size depending on what size you buy the actual babydoll in. It's the same sheer black fabric that makes up the side panels of the babydoll. I think I would have found it more interesting if at least the front triangular panel had the same purple brocade fabric as the front and back panels of the babydoll, but all in all, it works. If the thong doesn't fit, you could always just pick up a basic sheer or just cheap black cotton thong from anywhere and it would match this piece well enough, I'd say.

It was a LOT shorter in the back than I expected--it only covers about half of my behind, which is not necessarily a bad thing, just not exactly what I expected. The bottom edge does ride up if I sit down and get up a couple of times or walk around a lot, so I feel like I always have to keep pulling it down, but it's not too bad. It's a really cute piece with feminine accents like bows and ruffles without being oppressively girly. Although be careful since the bows aren't sewn on super securely. The one in the middle of the cups fell off on mine, but I sewed it back on with little trouble. All in all, I'd recommend this! For the price point, it's a good buy.
