Two-piece babydoll set - babydoll and panties set by Baci - review by BlackxxxRose

This number is tight, but unfortunately not in a good way.

Let me preface this review by saying this is the first piece of lingerie I have worn since getting pregnant. It is also the first time my partner has seen me in lingerie since my getting pregnant. We both had high hopes for this piece and were hoping that it might 'grow' with me. Unfortunately we were both disappointed and now my partner is on a quest to help me find flattering lingerie or sexy outfits that I can wear through the rest of my pregnancy that don't scream "maternity tent" or "nursing bra".

The two piece black babydoll set by Baci includes a one size fits most babydoll and an adjustable thong. Both pieces are solid black and are made of 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex. The tags on both items read, "machine wash warm, wash colors separately, only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low. Do not dry clean."

The babydoll portion of this set has thin, adjustable straps but the rest of the piece is as is. The material will stretch, to an extent. It isn't scratchy but it isn't what I would call soft either. The hem on the bottom isn't finished but the rest of the piece looks hemmed and finished where it should be. Directly under the bust line there is a stretchy band (almost like a bra strap) that goes around the whole bust line, but is only attached at the front. This makes it hang loose around the back to create a very, very uncomfortable pinching all around. I can't see what purpose this strap serves other than to maybe pull in the bust line. The rest of the top is actually pretty and would be flattering on smaller busted shapes. If you have a larger bust, you may end up with muffin cup spillage like me. I mistakenly assumed that this piece would stretch on top and that my quickly growing breasts would still fit smaller tops, that was a highly incorrect assumption.

The thong itself isn't awful. The adjustable sides actually give it a couple redeeming points. However, it is made of nylon and spandex and the crotch is mostly string so it doesn't look comfortable for extended wear. I skipped trying this piece completely in favor of giving it to a thong loving friend. Hopefully I'll be able to comment back with her opinion on it at a later time. With the addition of the adjustable sides, it's a standard g string type thong and should fit the way most standard cheap thongs do.

Altogether, this set is probably better suited for the small and petite. It doesn't allow for larger busts and gave me the overall appearance of being really short and dumpy. If this piece had actually fit, I could see myself sleeping in it or wearing it as a slip under knee length sun dresses and because of that I'm giving this set three stars. It isn't an awful piece but it definitely isn't suited for those with larger sizes. At the very least, it looks really cute on the hanger.

While this set was a complete let down for my shape, I do still think it's a really cute set and will be finding a friend to give it too. I'd hate to see it go to waste since I can't use it like I'd hoped. It would make a cute, sexy nightie that would be comfortable to sleep in on hot summer nights for those who can actually fit into it.

This piece just couldn't work. It was unflattering and made me feel as far from sexy as possible. I did end up finding a friend to give it to though, and she really liked it. It wasn't too tight on her and makes her look fabulous. I'm just glad it didn't get wasted, collecting dust in my drawer because it was too small.

I still think it's a really cute piece, just not on me. For someone with smaller breasts and a smaller butt, it would look fantastic on them.
