The Basics:
Dreamgirl's Diamond Lace Fishnet Thigh Highs are an elegantly sexy pair of stockings that look great with lingerie in the bedroom. You could also pair these with a nice dress for date night, if you're feeling confident. That being said, I personally prefer to pair these with lingerie.

Do you need a garter belt:
The stockings stay up okay on their own, but they do have a tendency to roll on me. The rolling isn't major, but it's just enough to annoy me. This might be because my thighs are a bit thick. Anyway, I prefer to pair these with a simple black garter belt.

What are they made out of?:
These are made out of Nylon and Spandex. Unfortunately I have misplaced the packaging, so I cannot state how much of each is in the stockings with 100% certainty. I can, however, tell you all about how great these stockings feel.

These stockings are made primarily of a fishnet material, with the top band being solid black. The material is unbelievably soft to the touch. I was genuinely surprised at how comfortable these are to wear! They didn't feel itchy on my sensitive skin at all.

When I first got these, I was expecting the band to uncomfortably dig into my skin. I'm happy to say that that wasn't the case at all. The band (like the rest of the stockings) is very stretchy. It stretched to fit my slightly larger than average thighs, and barely made an indent. The band, if you're wondering, is about 2", which also helps to prevent it from digging in.

The stockings feel to be very durable. I have been quite rough on them, and they have yet to tear.

How do you clean them? Where do you store them?:
I'm not 100% sure what the packaging recommends, as I have misplaced it. That being said, I simply hand wash these in cold water with a very small amount of soap. Once I've washed them, I just allow them to drip dry. They're thin, so they dry very quickly.

As for storage? I keep these together in a plastic ziplock bag, and then stash them in my lingerie drawer.

How do they fit?:
Dreamgirl has only made these stockings available in One Size Fits Most. This means that the stockings are meant to fit anywhere between 90 to 160lbs. I am happy to say that I do think that these will fit everyone in the recommended weight range, and maybe even then some!

I have thick thighs, so I was really worried about if these stockings would fit. My thigh is 26" around, at its widest point. These stockings fit me well, and there was even some stretch that tells me that these would fit larger thighs, too! That being said, you should keep in mind that the more you stretch, the more the pattern appears to stretch out. Still, these didn't look half bad on my large thighs.

What about length, you say? The length of these did not disappoint me at all. I am 5'6", with about a 33" inseam. These were able to stretch all the way up the length of my legs, ending right at my butt. That being said, I was also able to adjust them so that they sat slightly lower than my bottom.

Tell us about the design?:
The design of these stockings is very sexy, though it does make them fairly difficult to put on.

First, you have the diamonds that sit at the top of the stockings. One diamond is supposed to go on the front of your legs, whereas the other is supposed to sit on the back. It is easy to tell which diamond is meant to go on the back of your legs, as the back has a seam, as well. Towards the very bottom of the thigh highs, there is another little diamond. Now, the lower diamond goes on the back of your legs, and is not visible in the photos on the product page.

These are difficult to put on due to the fact that you need to line up the seam and diamonds perfectly. That being said, it's certainly not rocket science; you just need to take your time.

Now... lets talk about the ribbon. I have mixed feelings about the ribbon. One thing that really bugged me was that I had to weave the ribbon through the stockings myself. That's right, Dreamgirl does not thread it through for you. Thankfully threading it through is very easy, though it is slightly time consuming. The ribbon looks nice enough, but at the same time, I think that it would be sexier without the ribbon. The trouble is, if you remove the ribbon, you can see the holes where the ribbon is supposed to go... and that just makes the stockings appear "unfinished".

For those wondering, the ribbon is about 40" long, so it should fit everyone who can fit into the stockings.

Another thing to note about the design is that the toes are lightly reinforced. The heels, unfortunately, are not.

Quality:
The overall quality of these is very good. The material feels sturdy, and I do believe that these will withstand the test of time.

I give these a rating of 4.

These are not my favorite pair of fishnets. The ribbon is a little odd, and the pattern doesn't look as nice on my legs as it does on the models, but the fishnets are still nice. I have worn these about a handful of times, and they've held up well to some rather rough use.
