Romantic lace - bra and skirtini set discontinued by Spice Lingerie - review by spiced

My wife and I both love the Romantic Lace bra and skirtini set. We both love the colors, the elegant lace, and the overall sexiness. I also love how sexy she looks wearing it!



The set is well-designed to showcase the curves of the feminine form. The "bralette" makes my wife's 36C breasts look absolutely HUGE, and the "skirtini" and thong leave little to the imagination.



Only one thing keeps me from giving this set a full five stars - the sizing. We've always thought that "One size fits most" can be four of the cruelest words in the English language. In this case, we found the set was just a little too small for her voluptuous size 12 body. "Constant wardrobe malfunction" is how my wife described the experience of wearing this, as her nipples kept popping out (no complaints here). The skirtini was a little too tight on her waist, the thong even less comfortable.



She estimates that this would look best on a size 8 woman, and probably pretty good on a size 10. Smaller sizes should be OK, too. But it's not quite big enough to fit a size 12 woman comfortably.



As you can see, the skirtini measures about 15 inches from side to side, making the waist roughly 30 inches. The material, which according to the label is 88% nylon and 12% elastane, is somewhat stretchy, so there's some wiggle room - and believe me, if anything wiggles, you'll see it in this set! (Sorry, I couldn't resist).



The thong is as basic as it gets. My wife wore it only for a few minutes before finding it uncomfortably tight. Again, no complaints from me when she took it off!

My wife was delighted when I gave this to her. She went into the next room to try it on right away. When she strutted back into the bedroom wearing it, I swear I saw an angelic aura surrounding her (or maybe that was just the backlighting of the late afternoon sun).

We really hadn't planned on any sexual fireworks on a weekday afternoon, but we found ourselves too aroused not to "test-drive" this lingerie set. She took off the thong, but left the bralette and skirtini on. As I mentioned above, Her breasts just wouldn't stay all the way in the bralette, anyway, and the open design of the skirtini gave me access to... well, let's just say it didn't get in the way!
