This elegant lingerie gown is sure to make anyone feel sexy. As soon as I slipped it on I felt like a goddess. The design is simple really. It’s just like a triangle bra with four long strips of fabric flowing off from the under bust band. The fabric is sheer and has a silky feel against the skin. I absolutely loved the way the long strips of fabric fell around my body and flowed with every step. They reached all the way down to the floor on me without heels (I’m 5’3”) which I thought looked great. The gown would also look great on someone taller though, where the fabric would fall only to mid calf or something.

I was a little worried about the thin elastic straps cutting in to my body (with one-size fits all things I often find they are designed for stick women), but I had no issues with this. The elastic conformed nicely to my curves. The fabric for the chest part seemed a little small at first as I adjusted my C cup breasts to try to fit them in. But when I came out into the living room to show my husband he seemed to like the result!

The metal necklace on this gown is what really makes it stand out though. Even though it’s beautiful, I had hoped that it would be detachable. However, it is firmly secured to the dress and after looking at it closely I determined there wasn’t even a way to take the necklace off permanently with pliers without leaving the straps of the dress looking funny afterward. The main reason I was considering this is because I’m allergic to nickel and I didn’t have high hopes of the metal necklace being nickel free. I’m still not sure if I’m allergic to it or not actually, because any time I put the gown on it doesn’t stay on for long!!

The G-string that comes with the dress is just a standard plain g-string. It’s made out of the same sheer fabric as the rest of the dress and fits nicely (again no strings digging in to my hips). For wearing at home, the g-string paired with the gown is the way to go. I’ve still been figuring out how to modify this outfit to wear it out. I regularly attend fetish nights and I’m sure this dress would be a great hit there, but I’m not sure if I’m comfortable to be quite that revealing! This gown is VERY exposing. I’m thinking I’ll wear more butt covering underwear of a similar fabric if I wear it out.

As for durability, I’m not too sure if this gown will stand the test of time. However, items like this generally aren’t worn much or for long periods of time, so they don’t need to be that durable. The workmanship seems reasonable, but the fabric is a little flimsy and the design is too. I could see one of the long strips getting stepped on or pulled and ripping off the band possibly. But if you treat it right and are gentle on it should be fine. For washing, I’d consider it strictly hand wash only. With the metal necklace and the thin fabric I think it might fall to shreds if it was put in a machine. I worry about the necklace tarnishing over time, but who knows if it will.

This outfit was nice for a few wears, but now it doesn't really work. The attached chain necklace has gotten all tangled. This was my fault for not storing it hanging. I put it in a box with other clothes, and it got all messed up. I've been unable to untangle it thus far. I've also noticed that the metal has lost a bit of its shine and now looks kind of cheap. Too bad.
