The Essential Chemise is a very flirtatious number. The delicate floral lace halter and sheer mesh frill at the bottom are designed to entice the eye and create an alluring picture.

The body of the garment is a small/tight black mesh that feels nice on the skin. No scratching or irritation. The top is made from a floral lace that is delicate and romantic. I especially love the halter profile going up ending in the behind the neck ties. The lace is scalloped on the outside edge of the halter and is just so darn pretty!

The ties are elastic and run along the inside length of the lace that goes up the neck. The elastic is stitched in nicely and is very stretchy and strong. They are long enough to create a bow behind the neck. It is very comfortable and after you have it on for a few minutes you don't notice the tie at all.

Because the Essential Chemise does not have any underwire or structural components - it is extremely comfortable. I forgot I had it on at one point! However, because there are no any structural components - there is no shaping at all. Ladies blessed with a larger bust will have some serious side and top/front cleavage. There is no lift or separation. Smaller and augmented chests will create a different (and still gorgeous) profile. There is an elastic band that runs under the breast line separating the lace from the mesh and this does ride up with movement. It is not uncomfortable at all - it just moves. I absolutely adore the mesh ruffle at the bottom of the chemise. It is adorable and sexy.

I'm 5,2 and carry my weight in the middle. Because the mesh is so sheer - you see everything. I think it runs a little bit small- even with the stretch, it is form fitting. Someone with a more tone middle than I would look absolutely stunning in this number. Even so, I like the image it creates. It is a 'take all of me' kind of piece. The bottom ruffle hits my high upper thigh and just covers my bum. When I bend over - the backside is totally exposed and framed by the ruffle. A very naughty and intriguing view! This set also comes with a basic matching mesh g-string that fits true to size.

Polyester/Spandex blend. Care instructions as follows: Machine Wash Cold, Dry Flat, Iron (steam or dry), low heat. Do NOT tumble dry. No bleach.

DH was out of town for a convention for several days and I decided to wear this under a long light coat I had along with heels and some black stocking w/ garters to pick him up. Despite my few personal reservations about it - the 40 min car ride home from the airport was delightfully torturous for him. He could hardly wait to test out the strength of the halter ties and it held up under a rather rigorous review by him. A+. I'm requested to wear this every time I pick him up now.
