I just love lingerie! When I saw this outfit, I thought it looked so pretty. I just had to have it. Plus, I knew that the fetish club I go to was having a Scarlet Harlots (aka wear red) theme coming up. What a perfect fit!

When I put the outfit on, the first thing I noticed was that I felt very exposed! There are different types of lace out there, some of which cover more than others. This one is of the more sheer, hardly covers anything variety. Not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of. The fabric is very soft and was comfortable on my body. It is a one size fits most item, and as such has a lot of stretch to it. I found that it stretched out to cover my curves nicely. It did seem a little short though, which is surprising since I am a short woman (5’3”). It covered part of my butt and upper legs, but certainly wasn’t a dress at all. The straps on it are adjustable which is nice. As for the matching g-string, I wasn’t a huge fan. I found the strings cut into my hips. But to be honest, I find this is the case with almost all g-strings that come with lingerie sets.

When I first showed the outfit to my boyfriend and my husband, they both said it looked nice. They weren’t overly excited, drooling over it, or saying how incredibly hot it was though. This made me question whether I wanted to wear it out to the fetish club or not. So far I wasn’t totally sold. While the outfit looked decent on me, it wasn’t one of those killer gorgeous items. In order to get it to that point, I would have to do some work. I decided to wear a black under bust corset underneath the chemise, a red lace thong that I bought to replace the g-string, elbow length black gloves, knee high black boots and a necklace. Once all put together, it looked pretty hot! I think the item that made the biggest difference, for me, was the corset. I’m the type that is very self conscious about showing my stomach, so this helped me feel more comfortable wearing this outfit.

When out at the club, I got quite a few positive comments about the outfit. I found it to be very comfortable all night long. However, I was constantly having to pull down the bottom as it rode up whenever I walked or moved. Basically it became much more like a shirt than a dress. It didn’t cover my ass at all. Oh well!

As far as care goes, I would recommend hand washing the item and hanging it to dry. I do this with all my lace type lingerie items. It doesn’t seem to wrinkle at all, which is nice. But keep it away from anything that it might snag on (velcro, jewelry, etc.). It seems well made and not like it’s going to fall apart any time soon, if given appropriate care.

To conclude, this is a nice lacy outfit that will make a good addition to your wardrobe. I’d recommend it more for those who don’t mind showing a lot of skin. Also, understand that it’s not a dress at all- it’s far too short. With some accessories, this outfit can look very nice and will certainly get your partner excited.
