Garter pantyhose - hosiery by Leg Avenue - review by markeagleone

These sheer spandex, suspender hose with a lace waist are made by Leg Avenue. The pantyhose have the garterbelt built right in, which is absolutely fantastic. The lace waistband adds an elegant touch to the whole piece. The edging is opaque black which goes well with the sheer black of the nylons themselves.

The basics on these Garter Pantyhose are clearly written on the packaging. A word of caution that the sizing says one size fits most (which it also states on the packaging) but they also state that the weight for these is between 90-160 pounds. I for one believe that this would not be categorized as one size fits most.

The pantyhose looked amazing on my wife. She states that they were easy to put on, but then she also cut her fingernails down last week which made them more manageable. The pantyhose does have a bit of a reinforced toe but she states that these probably would not be long lasting with continual, constant use. We both enjoyed the fact that these can be worn during foreplay and during sex although rough sex might lead to tears and rips.

The stitching on the garment seems to be holding together nicely. The lace is not pulling away from the hose as of yet. The stitching is not the best I have seen so whether it stays together after multiple uses is unknown.

The care instruction on the packaging states that these should be hand washed in warm water, drip dry and do not iron. It does also say that you can use only non-chlorine bleach when needed, but my wife says that she has personally never done that. Per the instructions, they are no different than regular pantyhose.

The packaging itself was not all that unique. They came wrapped in plastic with a cardboard folded cover. The package does make it easy to give as a gift without wrapping because of the pink and white stripes on the back and a little heart cutout to see the color which is on both front and back of the package.

My wife says that she immediately felt sensual and sexy after putting on the Legs Avenue Garter Pantyhose. I completely agree that she did look sexy and sophisticated in a way too. We both thought they felt silky and soft. The lace was not itchy or stiff which was a plus for both of us. And as long as we were not to rough, they did hold up for our sexual night.

And now for my wife to leave her views and put in information that I may have forgotten.

*I loved the feel of these, I felt so sexy when putting them on. I was a bit concerned when I saw the weight limit on them after thinking they were a one size fits most. I am 5'7 and weigh about 140 (had a baby four months ago so still have not lost that weight) after I got them on I was pleased that they did fit. The garter pantyhose was pulled up to my waist without stretching the legs of the hose to produce a new color. Meaning that I have had black pantyhose stretched so far it was almost see-through. I will say though that I believe they are correct on the packaging that someone at 160 pounds or more would not be satisfied with this product.

The pantyhose themselves are a wonderful addition to any wardrobe. I would not recommend wearing these all day as the reinforced toe and the pantyhose themselves are not the best quality. As my husband said before, the stitching is mediocre at best so the life of these pantyhose will really depend on use and careful care.

I love that they can be cleaned just like you would normal pantyhose. There are no special instructions or special soaps that need to be used. However do not use a scouring detergent if you use anything at all. Nylon is strong for the most part being made from resilient polymers. Another few characteristics of Nylon which I think are helpful to know is that Nylon is hypo-allergenic and offers good resistance to oils, greases and solvents.

My husband did seem to love the look on me. And I must say the sexiness that I was feeling really added to the whole experience. I would say for an extremely low price it was worth the extra passion that came from it.*

My wife still wears these on occasion and I still enjoy seeing her in these. She will finish up the follow-up on the Garter Pantyhose.

*I still love these. They have held up well, even after a few, intimate nights and handwashings. The Garter Pantyhose are showing their age. They are getting thin in some areas and the toes are showing signs of some small runs. These will be getting replaced soon, but did perform wonderfully for the price.*
