Fishnet stockings with garterbelt - stockings discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by vulvalicious

These stockings with attached garter belt are exactly what I was looking for and most importantly, they lived up to my expectations. No regret or disappointment here! I'm somewhat lazy when it comes to lingerie. I want items that are easily put on and taken off and that don't have a lot of clips, bows, ties, strings, boning, etc. that takes time and effort I'd rather spend elsewhere doing other things. This set is one piece, all parts attached permanently. The product picture is a little misleading as these do not come with panties. This is just fine with me as they are super sexy to wear without panties and you're ready for fun sexy times without having to take anything off if you don't want to.

Size/Fit
These are a One Size Fits Most size by Seven 'till Midnight. According to the sizing chart they should fit:

Size: 2-14
Waist: 24-32
Hips: 34-40

My measurements are:

Height: 5' 4 1/2"
Size: 4-6
Mid thigh (where middle of lace stocking top fits): 20"
Waist: 28"
Hips: 38"
Top of my hip bones (where middle of lace garter belt fits): 32"

These fit me perfectly. As mentioned in another review of these stockings, they would not be good for anyone shorter than 5' 4" or anyone with short legs. I can pull the stockings all the way up to my butt cheeks comfortably, which doesn't look great and makes the garter belt sit too high. I pull the lace tops down to mid/three quarter thigh height and they stay in place just fine. I like this extra length and stretch in them because they fit where I want them to and don't feel too tight or give me a muffin top. There is a little indentation where the elastic is, but that's normal and doesn't look bad. There is enough stretch in the lace that I think this set could fit someone with thighs or a waist/hip measurement 2-4" greater than mine. The lace on the stockings and garter belt is soft, comfortable, stretchy and stays in place well without much rolling. The lace measures about 3 1/2" wide on the stockings and the garter belt. The lace straps on the thighs are 1" wide by 6" long and can stretch to about 10". The fishnets are a smaller pattern and quite soft. There is a seam across the toes of the stockings; they do not have a reinforced toe.

Material/Care
This set is made of Nylon and Spandex. There were no instructions for how to care for these with the packaging. Given the delicate nature of the material, I would suggest only hand washing with a mild detergent in cold water and let them hang to dry.

Packaging
They come in a clear plastic bag that is folded over at the end and sealed with a little piece of tape. The plastic bag is in a cardboard box. Nothing special. I kept the plastic bag just to have something to put them in so they don't accidentally snag on something in my drawer.

I got these, primarily, to wear for my husband and I to enjoy during playtime and to give him a little something to think about when I show him what I'm wearing under my clothes for the day. He didn't know I had bought these, so the day they came I put them on that night, and nothing else, and posed seductively on our bed, which I made a point to put soft, burgundy sheets on. When he walked in our bedroom and saw me lying there in these stockings and garter belt he stopped, mouth a little open, and stared and told me how incredibly hot they were. He literally got a hard-on right then, in less than ten seconds. I enjoyed watching his, um, reaction while all I had to do was put these on, lie there and don my best 'come hither' smile. They stayed on for the fun that followed and didn't rip, tear or otherwise malfunction. I've worn them several times since, and they have held up well. There is a little bit of a learning curve when figuring out how to put these on so the lace lies flat and in a criss cross like it is supposed to, but it's achievable and gets easier once you've done it a few times.

For the price and quality I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is thinking about getting them. And if you're not thinking about getting them, you should be!
