The Wet Look Stockings will add a unique flare to your outfit. Whether you are going for a sexy look in the bedroom or a sexy addition to your outfit at the goth or industrial club, these will fulfill your needs. Be warned, however. You're going to have sweaty legs and feet as there is no room to breathe. I don't suggest wearing these in the summer time.

I nearly expected these stockings to have a faux leather look to them as the stock photo on the product page is looking so shiny! In reality, these are more of a matte look than a glossy or shiny look. That's not necessarily a bad thing unless you were really counting on them actually looking wet for your outfit.

There is a decent amount of stretch in these nylon and polyester based stockings. So, if your thighs are much thicker than your calves, or you have thick calves or muscular ones, don't worry. There is enough room in these stockings to fit your calves and thighs. I almost always had an issue with the stockings bunching at my ankles.



I found that these can be worn with or without a garter belt. However, if you wear these using a garter belt, make sure the clasps can hold the thicker fabric or else you will be popping garter clasps all night and become frustrated. Just one minute into wearing a garter belt, as I went to sit down, one of the clasps let loose. Moving around and dancing didn't seem to pop them, but the stretch of sitting down did.



As mentioned above, these are not breathable, so I really don't recommend you wear these in the summer. For winter, however, you will be thankful that you have these on your legs as they are sure to keep the heat in for you.

The inner lining is very soft and surprisingly comfortable while the outside is smooth. For care and maintenance, I suggest turning them inside out and washing on a gentle cycle in cold water and laying flat to dry. Store these as you store your other stockings, whether it be in a drawer, in a door hanging organizer, or in a bag.

I was personally surprised at how well these stayed up without the use of a garter belt. They did slide down a little, of course, but it was more like a slow crawl. Knowing that I was not walking up and down steps or from a parking lot to the club when I tested these out. I was simply walking around my apartment. User experience can and will vary.
