When my husband saw this little outfit online, he liked it right away, and wanted me to order it. I, on the other hand, wasn't 100% sure about it. But I love to please him, so I got it. And it's really pretty cute. The description says that it can be worn outdoors or for a fun night. Well I have to disagree with that. It is a bit see through and super tiny so I know I wouldn't wear it outdoors. As far as a fun night goes, sure, so long as the fun night is at home with the one you love. Or at least are trying to impress. But as cute little outfits go, for a fun night of sex, this will definitely do the trick.

The Black Skirt Set by Dreamgirls is a cute little three piece set consisting of a string bikini type top, a thong and a short little skirt. It is a bit on the cheesy side, in that it's somewhat cheaply made. But since I only bought it for a night of passion, I don't mind at all. When I say somewhat cheap, I'm mostly talking about the material, the metal rings and the rhinestones. As far as stitching goes, they did a nice job and it should hold up for quite a while.

The material is a very shimmery, lightweight, polyester spandex. But as I said it is somewhat see through. The metal rings that are between the cups on the bikini top, and between the waistband and bottom part of the skirt, are 1 1/2 inches diameter. They are a brushed silver look, inlaid into each ring are rhinestones. If you look at them closely they look like they came from the children's department of your local dollar store.

The bikini top is trimmed all the way around with a very stretchy elastic. To put it on you just tie the top and bottom like you would a typical string bikini. But the elastic is so stretchy that you really have to pull pretty tight to get it to stay put. Hanging from the silver ring on the top are 7 rows of tiny metal beads in different lengths.

The skirt is 9 inches long total. It has a nice 1 1/2 inch thick waistband that is made from the polyester spandex material. Below that there is a 1 1/2 inch gap with six of the silver rings, three in front and three in back, and a thin fabric strip holding it to the bottom part of the skirt. This part is 6 inches long, has a very slight flare and the hem is just a surging stitch at the end. It fits really nicely and lays perfectly at the top my hips.

The description for this product calls the panties a g-string, but it's more of a thong with elastic strings on the hips. The thong part is made of the same shimmery polyester spandex and it does have a small cotton panel for the crotch.

I believe the sizing is probably pretty accurate. I'm a solid size 6 and I bought the medium. It fits nicely but I probably could have pulled off a small, because it does seem a tad loose. So if you're on the fence size wise, keep that in mind.

As far as washing goes, the instructions say to hand wash in cold water and line dry. And that is probably best. With all the metal on this outfit, I don't think I would put it in the washer even on the delicate cycle, and I definitely would not put it in the dryer. One more thing I need to mention is that the tags in the top are in the worst places possible. There are two tags together right in the cup of the top. I had to cut them out, because not only were they uncomfortable, but you could see them right through the top.

Ok, so after all of this you're probably thinking I really didn't care for this outfit, but no, not really. This little outfit fits very nicely and it looks really cute on. Which is a good thing. And my husband really loved it. Which is a very good thing! So in spite of it's drawbacks, I'm pretty happy with this skirt set and I will be wearing it again.

I hand washed this and let it dry flat. It came out very nicely and none of the metal pieces or gems seemed worse for the wear. So it holds up well for that. I still think it's really cute! And my hubby loves it!
