Amour - gartered chemise and panty set discontinued by Charm Wear - review by LadyJiyae

I want to start my review by telling you, I have no idea what size I was sent but it did not fit well at all. On me, this outfit is small enough to be a tee-shirt and doesn't cover much of anything (though that's sorta the point for some of us ladies so perhaps you'll be okay with that). I am 5'9" and weigh about 148lbs, I wear a M/L top or 36D and a Large for bottoms.

I was not a huge fan of this material. The mesh wasn't bad, but the lace was very scratchy. My breasts spilled over the top or hung under because the material offered very little accommodation for someone that's not a B cup.

However, the one thing I did really like was the fact I could machine wash it and it has built in garters. Those are adorable and they look really cute when you pair them with fishnets.

So, how about the fit? Well as previously mentioned I'm tall but proportioned really well, it did fit my torso but there was no bum coverage at all (which is why I will not be including a photo of the back of the outfit). The hem line is lace so it makes a nice "peek-a-boo" look with flesh tones. There's also an added piece of ribbon so you can have a corset style stitching in the back, however you must lace this yourself and I couldn't get the lace through the tiny eyelets (also why no photo of the back of the outfit).

On a random side note, the garter part of this outfit is made of 4 single attachments to the hemline. These are sewn into the hem as a small loop; this allows the garter attachments to be easily removed or changed with another style of hook.

This is what the front looks like on me. Note I am wearing a black bra in this image, due to the aforementioned fitting problems. The top is a lot more sheer than pictured.

I'd say overall I'm not super thrilled with the outfit, but I do like it on it's own. I just can't ever really see myself wearing this for my partner.
