When I purchased this babydoll, I knew that I wanted something that was front-opening and would hopefully look flattering on my body. At first, I thought it was solid maybe partially opaque. However, upon critically inspecting the product page, I read that it was described as a "Mesh" piece. The first reviewer also commented on how sheer it was.

I thought, why not? Into the cart it went! It arrived to me quite simply, in tissue paper from EF. The g-string was attached to the babydoll with a plastic tag, and there was also a tag from Escante on it as well. Very basic, but how I like it.

Materials and Craftsmanship

This piece is mesh. Mesh is equal to SHEER on lingerie descriptions now, so be careful if you do not want to get something sheer in the mail. Read the description before you purchase and hopefully you won't run into a problem.
This is all sheer.

It is 91% Nylon, and 9% Elastane.

This makes for an incredibly soft, stretchy garment. The craftsmanship is pretty good, I had no issues with the garment in those terms. No stray threads.

This is a front-closing babydoll, which may present as an issue for some women with larger busts. This has a vertical, plastic hook on one side of the cups (with reinforced stitching to hold it firmly in place). The other is a vertical closure (also reinforced), to lace the hook into. It's not the sturdiest design, but it works well enough for me and my boyfriend who hates fiddling around to undress me. The ribbon on the front is also plenty long and works well to help add another reinforcement to keep the babydoll shut.

Again, I had no issues with this clasp top, but other women might find it tiresome or annoying (because if you jiggle and move around enough, it just might unsnap).





The thong does have a cotton liner on it, which is much appreciated.

This piece is incredibly soft, not itchy at all. It is breathable, obviously, and feels soft and smooth. It stretches easily, but retains its shape.

The coloring might bug people, so I figure that I should explain it. The babydoll is a majority white/cream. The lace on the cup is a cool purple, much like the product photo. The elastic bra strap part that forms the sleeve is actually more of an Easter-y lilac. The ribbon at the front of the babydoll is more of a dusky rose-- a muted, lavender pink.
While it doesn't all match, I kind of like it that way. It gives the piece a little more depth than all of my matched up pink, black, and red lingerie.

Care
This is made in Mexico.
Escante advises you to hand wash cold, separate from other clothing. Use non-chlorine bleach only. Do not wring or twist. Hang to dry.
Use only low-heat if you find yourself needing to iron it.

Size and Fit

I bought this set in a large.
I wear a 36C bra, my waist is 30", and my hips are 39" (while my butt is about 43" at largest). I wear sizes 8-12, depending on brand and garment.

Escante lists a size large as fitting sizes 10-14, cup C-D, bust 36-38", waist 32-34", hips 34-36".
The hip measurement seems off to me, but we shall see how this actually fits.....


Well, pretty much perfection! We have a winner! On all fronts! Fit is pretty important to me.
The cups are soft and stretch nicely over my full C-cups. The part that is considered the "band" measurement is great for my body as well.

And this is the FIRST garment I have bought online that has its matching panties fitting me perfectly. I was ecstatic when I pulled them up and they rested comfortably wherever I chose to rest them on my hips. That alone makes this a winner, in my opinion.

Measurements~
The G-string is 28" around, without stretching. It is extremely soft and easily stretches to accommodate larger ladies nicely.

The babydoll measures roughly 28" under the bust.
The cups are about 8" around the lovely under wires.
The length, from under the bust, is about 16".

I find this baby doll to be very flattering on me. The length is very nice, and the sheer creamy white color looks great on my skin tone.



I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something skimpy and sexy, lightweight, and easy to throw on and take off!

I still love this set! It is a hit for me- comfortable, sexy, fitting just right. It is flow-y and does not make me feel self conscious at all.

I do have the occasional problem keeping the top shut (but that usually happens when I am lying down in it rolling around a lot). The most unfortunate thing happened since I wrote the review-- I seemed to have misplaced the thong that came with this set. I'd actually forgotten about it until I went to write this follow-up.

It is actually worth cleaning out my (very messy) closet to find..

I still recommend this little set to anyone wanting to look sexy and soft (in color I mean) at the same time.
