Thigh high silicone nude - thigh highs discontinued by DreamGirl - review by oldman

I don't wear lace topped thigh high stockings, but I did give a pair to a lovely woman. This review is being written with her assistance. I ordered Dreamgirl's silicone stay up thigh high stockings with a lace band at the top in a size "one size fits most queen" in a nude color. They are beautiful--I know that. The recipient of these also thinks they are lovely. The lace band is lined with a rubber like material that keeps the stockings from falling down. Apparently it works because I can tell you they stayed in place. We went out to eat and Dora had no problem with the stockings falling or shifting. They were comfortable and non binding. In her own words, "Tell them there is no muffin top." OK--no muffin top.

I had the pleasure of measuring her thighs and at 3" below the groin, her thighs measure 24". That sounds pretty large, but she has lovely, thin legs but I'm reporting the facts. I also measured the lace top of the stockings, but I feel that information is useless. Unstretched, the lace measures 8.5" across and 4" from top to bottom. Using my hands I was able to stretch it to 15" across which narrowed the lace to only 1.5". I say that this information is useless because stretched out as I did, someone's leg would have to be as thin as paper to slide into the stocking. I read this information in reviews on stockings, underwear...anything with elastic. More helpful, in my opinion, are the measurements of wearer and her/his opinion of any extra room or if the item is tight who they think it would fit.

In Dora's case, she felt that the stockings fit her perfect. She also feels that a woman with thighs of 22" to 26" would also be comfortable. A woman with shorter legs and bigger thighs could wear the stockings because of the natural adjustment, but at the point where the lace hits, the measurements would still be 22-26". The elastic lace would not vary along with the stocking.

The actual stocking is nicely woven 85% nylon/15% spandex. They came in a plastic sleeve in a carboard holder with a picture of a nude woman modeling the stockings. Size information on the back says the stockings will fit women between 165 and 275 pounds. No information is given about height. Dora weighs 155 and we both doubt that a woman almost twice as heavy could comfortably wear these stockings. In this case the stockings fail. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have more size options for smaller and larger women. While putting the stockings on Dora's hands did snag the stocking, but they did not run. She recommends checking your hands for rough skin and any rough edges around your nails. Also, putting on hand cream will help prevent the snagging while putting on the stockings.

We went out for the evening. It was our little secret what sexy stockings were under Dora's dress. This seemed to be a real turn on for me--Dora looked beautiful (and she always looks sexy) but none of the men knew what I knew. If they had an inkling about how much sexier her legs were above the bottom of her dress, I'd have had to beat them off with a stick. It does seem to add a certain something when you know that what others want is right in front of them, but you are the only person who knows the secret.

The stockings are hand washable (separately in cold water; do not use bleach and line dry. They are made in Taiwan.

These are still the sexiest thing going for legs! Mrs. likes them because they stay up without problems. She has started to wash these by hand because she wants to make sure that the washer doesn't damage the stay up bands.
