Half bra & skirt - bra and panty set discontinued by Cottelli - review by I like to try harder

I received the half-bra and skirt in size small as a review item just in time to give it to my wife for our nineteenth anniversary. I got a chance to take a look at it and take a few pics (sorry, none with her wearing it) and examine the details a little better.

First, the set was in a clear plastic envelope with an insert showing the set on a model with a perfect fit. The brand for this set is Cottelli Collection, which is a German Company according to the package and website. This set is manufactured in China. The material and craftsmanship appear to be very high quality with a black base fabric with a leopard print and pink trim. Stockings were not included with this set.








The half-bra has a size printed on the tag which is 75B, which is a European sizing and varies a little from U.S. sizes. www.85b.org gives a good overview of European sizing and a conversion calculator. The conversion on this actually comes up as a 34A size in conversion, because it is a half-bra, there is a little flexibility on cup size, more on that later. The material is 92% polyester and 8% spandex. The cups are padded with underwires. The back has three closure sizes. There are adjustable shoulder straps.

The skirt has a size S on the label. The materials here are 50% polyamide, 40% polyester, and 10% spandex. The skirt has a black lace trim around the bottom edge. There is a pink ribbon binding on the back that could be adjusted. Adjusting however would possibly require some modification. At the edge of the ribbon binding is what feels like plastic boning material to keep the skirt's shape. The skirt features 4 removeable, adjustable garters.

Overall my wife and I have enjoyed this set. She is 5'4 and 120 lbs and typically wears a size 4 in most clothes, and her bra size is 32D. The fit of this set was generally very good, the only exception was in the bra. As previously stated, the bra is an equivalent of a 34A, but due to it being a half-bra, can work with larger cup sizes. In my wife's opinion, it would more appropriately fit a C cup or smaller. The skirt was a perfect fit. I would say this set is typical of any pre-packaged set that my wife gets, typically it is difficult to find something that matches her in top and bottom size. The material appears to be high quality should last for a while. I would certainly purchase other items from this manufacturer, but take the time to do the size conversions to ensure a better fit.

My wife and I still like this, although it is not quite as comfortable to her as some of the others she has.
