Date night dress - gown by Escante - review by Twizted03

One thing to note is that when I purchased this Date Night Dress, I really did not have the intentions of going out on a date and actually wearing it. And after officially wearing it, I stick by that statement and really would not go out in it.

Sizing:

I purchased this in a medium, and may have gone a size smaller. However, I worried that that may be a little too small. The medium fit, but it was a little loose in the top region. The sleeves went to the length of my elbows, or maybe a bit longer, which is not a problem, but the chest was a little big. I found myself having to put on a bra just to 'make it work.' The same could be said for the skirt; it was a little high, falling a little short for public outings, in my opinion.

Color & Quality:
The color was just as expected, black, but with a rather pretty sheen in the skirt. As for the quality, I was impressed. It is a rather elegant yet simplistic dress. The sleeves are a non-itchy lace nylon with some attractive embroidery throughout. Also included was a g-string, which I ended up discarding for something else.

Care:
When I wash items like this, I always use a lingerie bag, and that is what I would recommend for this piece. Over a few washes in the bag, it's still fine.

Sex Appeal:
It has its sex appeal, maybe a 4/5. But because of that and the fact that it looks like lingerie in some senses, I personally would not be comfortable going out in it. However, some may.

Pricing:
The price is pretty reasonable, and if you consider that you're basically buying a dress, I think I would do it again.
