Net back mini dress - mini dress discontinued by Music legs - review by Breas

The Net Back Mini Dress by Music Legs is available only in one-size-fits-most. The packaging states that the OSFM is best suited for those between the weight bracket of 100-175lbs and the height bracket of 5’-5’10”. I’m approximately 165lbs and my height is approximately 5’6”.

The dress arrived in a thin cardboard package. The front of the packaging states the company name and has a photo of a model wearing the outfit. The back of the packaging has a back view of the model wearing the outfit, a brief product description, size, and material composition. Inside of the packaging the dress is wrapped around a thin piece of cardboard. I don’t find the packaging to be ideal for storing the outfit. A drawer or hanging the outfit in a closet would work perfectly.



The outfit is made of 88% nylon and 12 % spandex. The dress is extremely stretchy. The material does not seem to become more sheer the more you need to stretch to fit. I’ve taken measurements of the dress laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements please send me a message and I can get them for you.

Chest unstretched (armpit to armpit): 11 ½ inches
Chest stretched as much as I could (armpit to armpit): 35 inches
Width of bottom of dress unstretched: 10 ½ inches
Width of bottom of dress stretched as much as I could: 33 inches
Length of dress unstretched: 24 inches



There is netting at the sides, chest, and back of the dress. The shoulder straps are not adjustable. The shoulder straps are 10 ¾ inches when unstretched and 21 ½ inches when stretched as much as I could. There is a small lace trim along the very bottom of the dress. The trim is approximately ¼ inches in length. You can see the trim in the photo below.



The dress is extremely comfortable and stretches to fit well. Being on the higher end of the weight bracket suggested, I did notice that it grabbed all the areas that I would prefer it didn’t (the chub). There is also no padding or underwire in the chest. If you’re concerned about nipple outline, you’ll need to wear pasties with the dress.

This dress is not something I’d wear in public because it’s fairly short and does show the areas that I’d prefer it didn’t. The dress falls near the top of my thigh and I’m approximately 5’6” in height. The dress can be pulled down to a comfortable length but then the net backing creeps down below showing the bum crack. As for the chest, I wear a C cup and it fit comfortably at the chest.

There is no care tag in the dress so the safest bet would be to hand wash the item and line dry. The material seems to attract pet hair so I’d suggest storing it out of pet reach.

I’ve given the outfit a 4 out of 5 because it’s a lovely dress, though it’s only available in one-size-fits-most. Also, the stitching of the dress is decent, though it’s not the best quality. I’d recommend this outfit for those within the weight and height brackets, and those looking for an inexpensive sexy piece.

I still like this outfit. I've thrown in it in the washing machine in my lingerie bag and it's still in excellent condition. I'm very happy with the way it looks on me and my partner is too!
