Wet look top & mini skirt - bra and panty set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by married with children

Packaging: this showed up in a plain clear plastic bag. No information or pictures on the outside of the packaging. If I had not known what I ordered, I would not have known what was inside of the bag. You could not tell from holding the bag in your hands. All you can see is what appears to be black clothing inside. The packaging is only good for shipping. I would not try to keep it for storage.

Care and storage: This is listed as a hand wash only. On the plus side, you can use non chlorine bleach when needed on this. Some how our hand wash only pile keeps growing. This is another outfit that we just cant leave hanging up to drip dry, as the kids might get the wrong idea if they happen to see it. I am going to have to build a room just to drip dry all of her lingerie in. Also do not try to iron this.

Material: this is made from 80% Nylon and 20% spandex. It is very shiny, and reminds me of the look of an oiled up leather outfit or pair of boots. Not in feel, just in the way it looks. This has a very unique feel to it, it is very hard to explain. It almost reminds me of the feeling of my rain gear for work, or of a rain proof northface jacket; just thinner. Like I said, its hard to explain the feeling of the material. It is very soft to the touch, neither my wife or I had any problem with it rubbing against our skin. She wore it comfortable and rode me with it on, and it did not bother my legs at all. This also has metal rings around some plastic jewels, on both the skirt and the top. The metal rings feel like chrome plated steel. This also has two zippers on each side in the front.

Fit and Craftsmanship: We purchased the M/L. I was torn between the small and the M/L, and decided to go with the medium large at the last minute. I was worried about it being too large on my wife. She does fall into the medium range, but she is no where close to being a large. The M/L fit her pretty well. The skirt seemed to fit just about perfect, if not a tad to loose; and the top was slightly too big, but not big enough to look funny or not work. I could not find anything wrong with the stitching or craftsmanship in this outfit. There were no loose threads, no loose jewels; everything was right where it should have been.

Design: The skirt has three rows of plastic jewels running around the waist band. The middle row is made up of only plastic jewels, ones about 1/4 the size of the other two rows. The two outer rows have the plastic jewels surrounded by chrome plated rings. The black jewels blend in with the black fabric, so they are not that noticeable until you get up close. The jewels on the skirt are only on the front side of the waist band, not on the back side. The zippers on the side run up to the waist band, so unzipping them will not let you slide the skirt off without taking your legs out of it.
The top is your basic triangle top. Running up each top on the outside edge is a ribbon for tying it around your neck. The ribbon has the same plastic jewels and metal rings, they go past the triangle top about 2 inches on the ribbon. Then the neck tie continues as a plain black ribbon. The two triangles are connected to each other with a elastic strip. The elastic is very stretchy. There is also a elastic strap that runs around the wearers back. It closes with a plastic hook, similar to a bra clasp.

My wife is always between a small and medium, it does not matter who or where she gets the outfit from; it is always a small or a medium. The hard part, at least for me; is trying to guess which on to get. I was torn between the small and the M/L in this outfit. I decided to go with the M/L, and I chose well. The skirt fit her perfectly, not too tight or too loose. The top wasn't as perfectly fitting as the skirt though. It still ended up working for us, it just did not fit as well as I would have hoped it would.

This outfit is missing some thigh highs. I am not sure why they are not included with the outfit. We could not find her black net thigh highs to wear with this, so I might be purchasing another pair of those on my next order. I am unsure about the wet look stocking they sell on this site, they look like they would match this outfit just fine; just unsure about the fit on my wife's legs.

I am unsure why they designed the skirt with zippers, as they do not perform a useful function. They look sexy on the skirt, so I am assuming they are only there for cosmetic purposes. The skirt sits short enough that you don't need to move it up or unzip it to get to her happy button or naughty hole. My wife has never needed to open the zippers to perform any sexual act while wearing this skirt.

Only time will tell how this will hold up with washes. We have not needed to wash this yet, and have been careful to not let it get dirty. Not that I am worried about it falling apart in the first wash. I just feel that this is going to be a pain in the ass to wash and dry in my household. I also don't feel this will hold up to getting washed every week. But like I said, only time will be able to tell if it will.

This is and has been a hot little outfit on the wife. She does not wear it as often as I would like her to, but you cant get everything you want in life. The material has held up well. I was a little worried about how it would hold up, but I have not noticed any problems. The wet look of the material has not gone away. I am very happy with this purchase.
