For those familiar with fetish apparel, it can become quite an expensive habit. Dreamgirl International's Fishnet and Vinyl Chemise Set is a piece that is affordable, easy on/easy off, and comfortable. It made me feel powerful, sexy, and wickedly beautiful. All experience levels will appreciate the excitement that this set brings to the bedroom, but its primary target audience is the BDSM crowd.

Neatly packaged in a recyclable heavy paper display box, this fetish ensemble is part of the company's "Red Diamond Collection", a line of simple and affordable lingerie and costumes for women. The package shows a coordinating man's boxer, which would be part of the "Blue Diamond Collection", their menswear intimate apparel line. Enclosed is all you need for a night of fun: a one-piece babydoll with vinyl accents, a mesh thong, a vinyl neck collar, and a petite vinyl crop.

SIZING:
The babydoll is a "One-size fits most" or "O/S". So if you fall in to the 90-160 pound range, it "should" fit. Several pieces in the Red Diamond Collection are available in plus sizes; however, as far as I know, this one is only available in the O/S option. It just fits my voluptuous, 38D, 5'7", 150 lbs. frame, but I could equally have worn a plus size, had one been available. The designer should have added an extra 5 or 6 inches to the length, so that it would fit more like a mini-dress, with the hem falling mid-thigh. As is, it fits me more like a tank top, stopping mid-rear and bunching up around my hips when I sit, and I had to keep pulling it down each time I stood up. That is the main shortcoming of this outfit; literally, it is too short for a woman of average height!

MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTION:
It is only available in black, my favorite color! On the front side, the vinyl accent sits just below the bottom curve of the breasts and runs down the center to the hem, concealing a bit of the central abdominal area and creating a slimming effect. On the backside, the vinyl runs from the top center of the back about 2/3 down, stopping just above the buttocks, and curved to accentuate them. The mesh portion flanks the sides and is a sturdy weave, unlike some of the flimsier nylon ones that tear with the slightest snag. Additionally, the shoulder straps are adjustable.

There isn't much to say about the thong other than it fits well and it has a built in opaque crotch. The remaining accessories, the vinyl collar and the small crop are a nice touch to complete the tone. The collar has enough Velcro so that it can be worn snugly or loosely. You won't be able to inflict much pain with the crop as the 2" vinyl fringed part is feather-soft, but if you reverse it and give your slave a good whooping with the 11" hard plastic straw-like handle, he/she may feel a slight sting.

CARE:
The instructions recommend a cold water hand wash followed by line-drying. There isn't much material to this outfit, so it could be easily rolled up and taken along in a handbag.

Dreamgirl's Fishnet and Vinyl Chemise Set is a reasonably priced, starter BDSM apparel kit. Considering it doesn't use expensive materials, it still manages to capture the mood by appearing somewhat authentic.
I'm only giving it 4-stars because it is simply too short. When will manufacturers learn that the majority of women have curves? Lingerie designs, specifically the length, should compensate for that!

I completed the outfit with a pair of fishnet thigh-highs and vinyl boots, which set the tone for a wild night with my partner on his knees, begging to be fucked with my strap-on. Next time I purchase an item from the Red Diamond Collection, I'm going to see if the item is available in a plus size and see how that compares to the O/S.

Honestly, I haven't worn it but a couple of times, but I still enjoy it for being an easy fetish piece to put on and pull off quickly.
