The Black Lace Halter Ruffle Chemise is a wonderfully simple and elegant piece that is sure to please. It's versatile, flattering, and has a cut that will fit most body shapes beautifully.

Chemise:
This lace chemise is made of all over lace with satin ribbons; one that ties in the front, and a small one above the behind. It is designed in a backwards apron style with the top straps tying behind the neck, halter style.

The lace is soft and stretchy all over. It closes in the front with a bra-like hook, and then it ties closed around the waist with a satin ribbon. Below the ribbon and hook, the piece hangs freely in the front -sometimes open, sometimes not, in a fly-away or robe style. Because this chemise is a backwards apron, it does not have cups or breast support at all, but it could be worn with a sexy bra to create a dramatically sexy effect.

Material and Washing Directions:
This piece is made of 92% Nylon and 8% Elastane. The washing directions say “Machine wash warm, gentle cycle. Non chlorine bleach when needed. Do not wring or twist. Line Dry. Iron low temperature if needed.”

Thong:
The matching thong is made of the same material as the chemise, includes the same washing directions, and is completely crotchless. It has two satin bows that match the chemise as well; one positioned above the “crotch” and the other above the “crack.” "Oh my!" The thong is designed so that either side of the crotch sits next to the creases of the legs where thighs meet groin. There are two thick seams that run on each side of the panty. I can't imagine they would feel very comfortable, especially for extended periods of time.

Overall Opinion:
I tossed the panties aside because I'm not a fan of thongs, but overall, the set was very lovely and made quite a statement. The chemise would make a nice statement piece over a tube or tank top for a sexy date night or clubbing outfit. It would also pair well with some classic, back seam pantyhose and heels. This piece seems very versatile, and because of its shape and cut, it would most likely be flattering on multiple body types. Other than the thong, the only thing that bothered me about this piece was that I just can't tie a perfect bow! As silly as this is, I got a bit finicky about it and spent 30 minutes re-tying it until I figured out how to get it absolutely perfect.

I've gotten A LOT bigger since my original review on this chemise, and it still fits wonderfully. I love that this piece has been able to transition with me through my pregnancy so that I can still fit into something that's sexy and comfortable. :) I have high hopes for it in the bedroom after my pregnancy. This piece is definitely flattering and versatile and I absolutely love it.
