These are stay-up nylon stockings like no other! Instead of having the silicone lining to help them stay up, they have just the right amount of elastic and spandex in the lace cuff to help them stay put on your leg. At my widest, my thighs are about 24" thick. The place on my leg that these sit is about 20". Keep in mind that these measurements are when I am standing, not sitting and the fat squishes out. However, I found that even sitting, standing, sitting, standing, and repeat doesn't move these stockings too much. It's a huge plus when you're used to things constantly rolling down your legs.

They are made of nylon and spandex, giving them that hearty stretch needed for stockings to be able to stay up on their own. They aren't opaque like the model suggests they are. They are more transparent. So if you're looking for something that is a solid red, these are not the stockings you are looking for. However, if you want that dash of red on your sexy gams, grab these babies right up.

For a long night of dancing or walking around, I do suggest using a garter belt with these, or if you're just concerned about them slipping down at all, use a belt. These are some of the few stockings that I own that I feel confident walking around in with no garter belt to keep them up. That's a rare find for a thicker-thighed person to find.

To care for these stockings, either hand wash in cold water or put into a lingerie bag on the gentle/handwash cycle in your washing machine. Always use cold water for these. I did not experience any color bleeding, but you can always throw in a color catcher if you are concerned about other items of clothing soaking in this color. Lay flat to dry or on a drying rack. I store all of my lingerie in individual plastic baggies inside of a plastic storage bin under my bed. It keeps dust and pet hair from getting on my delicates.
