Lace low rise G-string - g-string discontinued by Charm Wear - review by MeliPixie

The Lace Low Rider G-String is a pretty straightforward product. A pair of pink thong panties with a flower-shaped (or so it seemed) patch of lace at the front, and just plain pink elastic for the thong sides and back. This gave the G-String plenty of stretch, without pinching my skin, pulling those tiny peach hairs, or being itchy at all. The lace is soft enough to be comfortable all day, and the bright pink is very pretty. I just loved the lace detail at the front, though it didn't fully cover my mons pubis (mound) like I expected it to. Please note that there is no gusset at all, so all-day wear is not recommended.

The panties are made of 88% nylon and 12% spandex and are made in China. AS such, I would suggest washing only in your delicate load and lay them flat to dry, if you are wearing them long enough to need washing that is! The construction is solid and can handle a bit of pulling without tearing, which is good for those of you who disrobe a little roughly when the time comes. Since I can't wear them myself (more on that to follow) I will probably re-purpose that adorable lace and elastic into something else.



This item came packaged in a simple printed plastic zip-top bag, and even after spending the afternoon in a box in the hot desert sun, after laying flat for a few minutes most of the wrinkles came out on their own. This is good because you can not iron these. The bag is sufficient packaging because this is only a pair of underwear and doesn't really need much protection. However I did find it kind of odd that the panties were packaged so that the pretty lacy front was facing the back of the bag where the bar code stickers were, but that's just my OCD kicking in a little bit here.

The Lace Low Rise G-String is a super cute, hot pink panty for ladies with fewer lumps than myself. I am on the smaller side of overweight (meaning I am technically overweight but it's not by much these days) and although this thong did fit, it was certainly not the way it should have. I got a size XL, and though the measurements matched my body, the fit just wasn't there. The elastic is so strong that it creates a muffin top where there normally wouldn't be one. I would suggest that you purchase a size up for comfort, and if you were already looking at an XL, skip it in favor of something designed for us plus-size ladies.

Sadly, my boyfriend was about as impressed as myself. He couldn't wait to take it off me... But not for the sexy reasons. It just looked terrible. Still, I know some smaller ladies who would rock these things! And I know I would love to see that (hint hint)!
