Lace up thigh high - thigh highs discontinued by Oh La La Cheri - review by BlackOrchid

My boyfriend had been dying for me to purchase some stockings for a while now. The aesthetic of these caught my eye, I was particularly drawn to the little lace up detail in the back. It's feminine, and fun and added that little bit of extra flare that caught my eye over other stockings. It reminded me a little bit of a corset, but for your legs!

I saw that these were a "One size fits most." I have a fairly average body type, I am 5'3" tall, 135 lbs. and usually wear around a US size 8-10.

The stockings came inside of a plain plastic baggie, with just a bar code sticker on the outside. There was no other writing or images on the package.

The fishnet stockings seem fairly sturdy. As long as there is no hard use on them, the user can expect multiple wears from them. I've put them on a handful of times, and they have had no issues. Of course, fishnets do have a tendency to get caught on buttons, hooks, other clothing items etc., so be cautious.

The top of the stockings have a thick floral lace detail top.




The lace up detail in the back is black ribbon with tiny white polka dots.



These stockings did not come with any care instructions, but because of the delicacy of fishnets they do need to be hand washed and laid flat to dry if needed.

One detail that I did notice on these, was due to the fact that I have short legs the stockings didn't fit me extremely well. I had no problem getting them on, and they felt comfortable but there was no denying that there was extra length left over which made the stockings slide around.

Overall, this was a good buy. I wish the fit had been a little better for me, because of the extra length they slide around and bunch up which takes away from the look of the lace up top, and I thought that was the cutest detail.

Although they weren't a perfect fit, these have held up well. Since they are pretty basic, they can also be worn with pretty much anything and are very versatile.
