Leather panties and leash set by Pipedream - review by Sammi

Pipedream’s latest entry in their Fetish Fantasy Series is the Leather Panties and Leash Set. The set comes packaged in plastic inside of a colorful and fun looking box. Inside of the box are the panties, a leash, and a free mask, all in black.

The panties are actually a g-string, and are made of black leather. The inside of the panty part is very soft. The label says to dry clean only - imagine taking this to the dry cleaner’s once or twice a week! While the front can be wiped down with a soft wet cloth and mild soap, it’s the inside part that requires washing.

The size is given as one size fits most. The panty part itself is about 7” wide, and tapers down just over 8” to the g-string. The actual g-string is made from 1/4"elastic and is about 7 1/2" unstretched – it stretches to about 17”. The elastic that goes around you is about 19” and stretches to about 34”.

The panties have a 1/8” metal ring on the front (with about a 1” diameter) that is attached by a tab. The ring is a fairly standard size, and other leashes or clips can be attached to it. The ring isn’t meant to be pulled on roughly – a hard tug pulls panty away from the body and doesn’t pull the person with it well.

The leash is a fairly simple and plain piece, and measures about 23” long, not including the metal connector. The wrist strap is 5 1/2" of that length, and it joins to the leash by a rivet. The leash is a smooth black matte leather on front, and a bit rougher on the back. The connector is silver, and has a small swivel clip that slides open to attach to the ring. The swivel clip was initially stiff, but loosened up after opening it several times.

The set also comes with a free mask. The mask is a simple nylon oval with a black elastic strap. It’s flat, so you can see under it easily – there’s no form around the nose.

Overall, the set is fun for a night of play if you don’t want to get too rough, and fun to use a leash attached to panties instead of a neck collar.

I was worried about this fitting, as I am typically not a “fits most” type of girl, but it didn’t look too bad at all. I had left the leash in the other room and came in wearing this g-string with a black leather bra and boots. It definitely caught his attention! After handcuffing my hands behind my back, he snapped the leash on and led me around a bit before finally taking me over to be tied to our sex chair. He liked being able to lead me around by the panties instead of by a collar for a change.

Since I can’t imagine taking this to the dry cleaners, I washed it in the hand wash cycle of my washing machine and line dried it a few times. The panty seemed no worse for this – still soft on the inside, elastic still in good shape, and the stitching held fine.

This is still fun to use occasionally as pre-bondage play. My husband prefers to attach a leash elsewhere, but these are fun for a change of pace.

The panties have held up to washings on "hand-wash" cycle and line drying, although I haven't washed them more than about 10 times.

This set is really more cute than functional, but we still enjoy it.
