Fishnet stockings with corset lace top plus size - thigh highs discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Internet Brat

I purchased these stocking in black queen size.

I love everything black and lacy, so when I saw these on the website I HAD to get them. I'm really glad I did, as they are very sexy fishnet stockings with a great corset lace-up detail on the top band. They go with just about anything, and while I would recommend wearing them with garters, they stay up alright alone, as long as you aren't moving around too much.

The quality is great for the price. I have worn and washed (hand wash or delicate cycle, cold water and hang dry) these stockings over a dozen times and they still look great. So far, no rips or snags, and I haven't necessarily been gentle with them. Like most fishnets and stockings in general, they attract every piece of lint, hair and fuzz in your house, so be sure to always have a lint roller on hand.

The way these thigh highs fit kind of bothers me, but I think it is an issue unique to my body type. I always buy queen size stockings because I am very tall (6'0") and regular size just isn't long enough for me. With these particular stockings, the corset band has no stretch to it and it makes them quite snug about half way up my thighs, even for plus size. This has resulted in the problem of "baggy feet" with the actual fishnet part of the stockings. I'm sure some of you are familiar with this; you wear fishnets for a while, they stretch out, you pull them up more to compensate for the extra stocking. You can't really do that with these. It's not THAT big of a deal, but if you happen to be tall with an average body type and shoe size, I would suggest not wearing these with open-toed shoes because they will get baggy!

Six months later and I'm still loving these thigh high, fishnet stockings. I've worn them many, many times, and they are starting to show a tiny bit of wear (the ribbon in the corset lace up is beginning to fray on the edges.) Overall, they still look great. They still fit the same as I described in my first review - they haven't stretched out any more after all the wears and washes. Worth getting, they will last a while if you take care of them.
