Ruffle top stockings with satin bow and pearls - stockings discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Sephymuffins

I was very excited when I finally received these stockings in the mail. I had looked forward to them since my daddy ordered them for me and I had no doubt in my mind that they would be worth the money He spent on them. What do you know, I was right!

I’m not someone that’s very tall or incredibly thin, but these thigh-highs fit me snugly and stay put like they should. I stand below average at about 5' 4" and weigh around 110lbs. Adding to my height and weight, I have a pear shaped body. My thighs are not very thin, and with most stockings I buy, I have a few complaints and issues. Hopefully some of the ladies reading can sympathize!

Putting all of the above aside, the look and aesthetic appeal of these stockings is wonderful to say the least; they definitely pulled me in. In material and build, they are just like any other opaque-white stockings you’d find, but with a little added flair. There isn’t too much going on looks-wise, and they are pretty simple in their design, so I would only pair these lovely thigh-highs with something cute and sleek—not something with a whole lot of detail (or garters, but I’ll get into that in a moment).

The strings of pearls (note: not real pearls) are the one added touch that makes these unique - not to mention it is what makes me love them! The bows are glued on top of the strings of beads so they are all connected. The bows are made of a satin material that pair nicely with the ruffled lace that make up the top edge of the stockings.

In my eyes, these stockings would not pair well with garter belts. It’s solely up to the user, but considering how constricting the band is at the top of these stockings, it would be uncomfortable for a person with my thigh size to wear for longer periods of time. Because of this, I can only assume these are meant to be worn completely solo and worn lower on the thigh. The higher they were on my legs, the more chance I had that they’d start to roll up or actually begin to hurt as they are very tight. When worn correctly though, they are very comfortable. They are not itchy at all and are very breathable.

From the looks of it, it would be very hard to mess these up or to have them fall apart. As I had said above, the bow and the beads are glued together - they are all attached in a very sturdy manner so even if a person was roughhousing in them, they’d hold up and resist tears and rips.

Though I take good care of my lingerie, sometimes things happen and they need to be washed. I suggest hand-washing with only a small amount of light detergent and letting them drip dry. If you must use a washing machine to wash them, use the gentle cycle and again let them drip dry. Avoid using heavy detergents, especially ones with bleach, and if you must machine dry them be sure to not use strong heat.

Overall, the look and feel of these stockings will not disappoint. Although it has its flaws to a degree, they are practically dismissible so I do rate them five stars. They’re incredibly cute but can also pull off sexy like nobody’s business. Dress them up or dress them down, they will always look good and are well worth the very few dollars you might spent on them.

I have found myself not using them as much since I have many black pieces of lingerie rather than white, but I can say right now that these stocking are still holding out pretty darn strong! I'm glad I have them because when I need them, I know I will look very good in them and that my Daddy will love me wearing them.
