Layered babydoll and thong - babydoll and panties set by DreamGirl - review by Kissy

Valentines Day came a night early in our house. We celebrated on the 13th! I decided to surprise my hubby with my new Layered Babydoll and Thong from Dream Girl. I feel like this set deserves a better name than just "Layered Babydoll and Thong" because it is STUNNING and VERY FLATTERING!

***Packaging***
The packaging was simple. The set was folded nicely, wrapped in bright pink tissue paper, and shipped in a sturdy box. You could easily re-use the tissue paper for gift wrapping!



***Care/ Maintenance***
The tag on the inside of the babydoll states to hand wash only in cold water and to line/drip dry. I would also add - don't iron! You might be able to get away with washing it in a lingerie bag in the washing machine - on cold.

You could store this in a drawer or hang on a hanger. Since the babydoll and thong can be folded into a small bundle and it only weighs 0.3lbs total, it is a great item to travel with, not taking up much space or weight!

***Design/Shape/Size***
At first I was unsure of the ruffle layers. I didn't want to look like a 12 year old. I like sexy lingerie -not cheesy, cutesy! But WOW, was I wrong... the 4 ruffle layers are adorable and sexy too!

The Ruby and Black are a perfect color combination for sexy! I love the cups and how the two colors are layered. The black is the lace on top and the ruby bottom layer. This adds some pizzazz for sure! The cups have a bit of a stretch to fit different sizes and there is no underwire. The product description says the one size cups fit most. The bow in the middle of the cups is satin, and I could maybe do with out it, but no biggie! The straps are adjustable and comfortable.



Under the lacey cups is a (approx. 1 inch) solid lined satin band. It wraps all the way around the babydoll. It stops in the back where the adjustable clasps are.

It's a real bummer they don't show the back of the babydoll in the pictures on the description page, because the back is gorgeous! It gives this babydoll a nice finished look! The satin band connects to a bra-like clasp with 2 clasps and 3 size settings. Underneath there is a sexy gap/hole to show a little skin. It is also nice there is the hole because it makes the piece easy to fit on!





Besides the babydoll, there is a g-string thong included. The thong is mesh and see-through. It has a short panty liner on the inside and a tag on the back.

This set comes in a variety of sizes: S to 4X! That's a great range! I am typically a size small-medium. I wear size 4-6 in dresses and jeans. I have a 34D bust and I am 5'4".

That being said I ordered SMALL and I feel like this size was a good fit. The only thing I worry about when ordering small is the cup size. But the cups fit perfectly! I actually even got quite a bit of coverage and lift! The adjustable bra straps in the back helps with this!

***Material/Texture***
This babydoll and thong are both polyester and pretty comfortable if you don't mind the mesh feel. The inside of the cups are solid polyester fabric, so they don't chafe your nipples like the mesh would.

The outfit seems to be well made with sturdy seams and stitching! The four ruffles are sewn on well even after some tugging! The ruffles are sewn on the outside of a solid piece of mesh, so it is comfortable on the inside - not too many stitch lines on the inside.



***Personal Experience***
I love this babydoll and thong. I like the look together, but I could also wear each piece separately! The color combination make this set great for Valentines Day or Christmas... but really could be worn anytime!

It is comfortable and the ruffles make it very flattering, hiding any flaws. The cups are my favorite part of the set and even with a size small - were big enough for my 34D's!

I am definitely keeping this set in my "to wear often" drawer. This set would also make a great gift for a bridal shower or lingerie shower!

The layered babydoll has been worn a few times since this original review. I really do still love it! It has held up well after being worn and washed multiple times.

My favorite part is the top delicate lace on the red satin triangle bra cups. It looks so beautiful and it is great for a sweet, innocent look.

My husband has no complaints either!
