Babydoll set with dvd - babydoll and panties set by DreamGirl - review by Bon Bon

Dreamgirl's babydoll set comes with the a black babydoll and thong and a DVD on erotic massage. Even though the DVD and the lingerie really have little to do with one another (other than the fact that you could wear the lingerie while giving the massage), I was glad to have the little bonus of the DVD.

When I first took the lingerie out of the package, the first thing I noticed were the gaudy gold chimes between the cups of the babydoll. Looking at the babydoll on the Internet, I wasn't quite sure what the chimes would look like up close, but they looked nice enough in their digital rendering. Up close they look a little cheap. The three metal chimes hang from cheap gold thread accented with plastic painted-gold beads. The thread is itchy to the touch, but luckily you can't feel it when wearing the babydoll.

In fact, the babydoll itself is rather nice. 100% polyester, but the lace part that forms the cups and a V down the middle feels soft to the touch and doesn't irritate the skin at all. The strap reaches up and ties around the neck, so it can support larger and bustier bodies. The cups are wireless, slightly supported by a black ribbon. When I wore a bra, I wore an A cup, and the cups were loose on me, so it didn't look quite as good as I think it would have if I were bustier. I'd say if you're a B cup or higher, it should be rather flattering. The rest of the babydoll is black mesh, with a circular hole in the back, which reveals just a little bit of ass and is accented with a black bow. The hole was my partner's favorite part of the piece.

The page says one size fits most, but the top was a little tight around the hips. I'm a size 9 jeans, not sure of my measurements, but I'd say curvier women may find this babydoll too constricting. The thong was stretchy, though I'm not sure how comfortable it would be for women with more robust hips either.

The tag of the babydoll says dry clean only, so that may be a bit of a con.

The DVD was surprisingly informative. Having only ever seen one other video on the art of erotic massage, I found some of the techniques they suggested helpful. The tone of the video is serious and sexy and included demonstrations involving two separate heterosexual couples. During the genital massage section there is a visual of the couples pleasing one another, including a graphic shot of one male's happy ending. I don't think I would buy this for the DVD alone, but it's a definite plus, and for a beginner to erotic massage, I found a lot in there I could use.

As for the packaging the set and DVD came in, it's definitely garish. Two huge fake rubies on the sides of the box, a clear picture of the woman wearing the lingerie on the front, holding the DVD, and two little windows to the sides to show a glimpse of the lingerie inside. Certainly not discreet, and probably not a good package to give a friend or lover who appreciates a classier presentation, but to solve that problem, you can always just wrap it separate from the box.

Haven't really worn this one since those first few times. The material makes my skin itch, and the chimes on the front are pretty cheesy looking. The massage video is still nice to watch over, to refresh myself.
