Summary

I'm obsessed with fishnets. If I could, I'd have them in every color and style possible. Most of my collection is basic black, but I have a ton of different styles. I'd always been particularly fond of the fence net style, but never owned any. It is hard to find stockings that work for a woman who is 5'4 and 105 lbs. To make things even harder, I have short legs for my height, so most "thigh-highs" come right up under my buttcheeks before they're pulled up enough to fit right. They usually fall down because the bands aren't stretchy enough. I've been through the ringer when it comes to stockings.

These fence net stockings by Leg Avenue are a dream come true. Not only do they look super sexy, but they also stay up, and can be worn lower than my others to make them true thigh-highs for me!

Sizing

Normal Leg Avenue stockings are made for the 90-160 lb. range. Sometimes I have a hard time finding ones that will stay up on my legs because I'm so tiny, but these babies fit me perfectly. The band and the netting is very stretchy, which should help accommodate medium to larger sized legs. However, if you fall in the higher end of the suggested weight range, you may find these a bit tight. The band is wide enough so it should create much of a dent in your leg. These can be worn super high or pretty low without compromising the shape of the diamonds.

Material/Color

These aren't your highest quality stockings on the market, but they're perfectly functional and adorable looking. They're super cheap, too. I ordered them in the awesome cobalt blue, as well. These are made of nylon, which is super soft and stretchy. When you look at them up close, they look a little rough, as the netting is less smooth overall than smaller netting styles, but unless you're giving them a super close inspection, it's nothing you'll really notice. The band has a couple loose ends both pairs I own, but it's nothing too bad. Because there is less area to catch on, these should hold up to use pretty well and shouldn't snag like styles with smaller netting tend to.

Wearability

I never want to take these off. They're so comfortable that you'll forget you're wearing them. The band at the top is about 2" wide, which allows these to grip, but not feel like they're going to cut your leg in half. The bands don't roll, either. Major plus there. The toes of these stockings aren't reinforced, so you can tuck them between your toes and wear them with peep-toe or open toed shoes. If you'd rather keep them out of your toes, grab some of the super low footies they make for wearing ballerina style flats. These can be easily found at places like Walmart.

Overall Impression

I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up with every single color of these before too long. I love how they look and feel. They're super cheap and super sexy. Could you ask for anything more than that?

These fishnets never seem to disappoint. Since buying them, I'm on a hunt for some amazing boots and costumes to wear them with. They're super sexy and slightly less common. I also love that these don't snag as much as regular fishnets have a tendency to. These babies let me feel like I'm wearing nothing at all!
