Satin opera gloves - glove discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by skeeterlynn

These gloves look and feel very comfortable. They have a silky outside touch that can drive anyone wild. The material is stretchy so it forms to most arms comfortably. It is a little baggy around my wrists, but fits my hand and arm comfortably and I can easily add a bracelet or watch to hide that bagginess. It is loose enough to easily be pulled on and tight enough that it hugs to your skin so it does not fall down but does not cause your arm to bulge unattractively. The tips are somewhat padded probably due to sewing the material together and I do not much care for it, but it is no more of a padding than any Halloween store opera gloves. When on all the way up, they come about halfway past my elbow. It is also kind of cute to keep below your elbow and let it bunch for a cute pattern effect for some of the less "Prom Queen" like costumes.

However, as said, they really are not much different from a normal store costume opera glove. They do feel better, but the material still fits and looks the same as any other. It's got the fingertip padded effect and you can see the color difference for where the thumb in connected.

Plus side is they are not uncomfortable at all. They are very fitting and do not cut off your circulation. I can not guarantee it will be that way for everyone, but I am sure it will be for most that they do fit.

If you are just looking for something simple to spice up a costume for the bedroom or holiday, this would be great. But do not expect anything out of the ordinary when it comes to them. They are simple and elegant, but nothing special.
