Not worth the money...

I bought the bigger size of this set, and while the dress came in the right size, it seems like they use the same size accessories with all the sizes. The hat and feather are cheaply made, and the money bag is a bit tacky. I was really looking forward to using this in a role play, but I just don't think it will work out.

You may look at the price of this set, and think Hey, it comes with all those accessories though! It's gotta be worth it! That's what I thought, but sadly I was wrong. Yeah, the accessories are better than some I've seen in sets like this, but they still weren't great.

This set comes with a Robin Hood Renaissance kind of looking dress, two gauntlets, a money bag, a faux leather corset to go around the dress, a cheap cowboy hat, and a feather to put in the hat.

The dress really isn't bad. I'd probably buy the dress on it's own if it were cheaper. It's made of a spandex/polyester mixture. This means that it's a softer material, and it's stretchy. This is good, considering I got it in the 3x/4x size (unfortunately, they didn't consider this when making the accessories). The dress has a smooth top portion, and the bottom part that would show under the corset has cute ruffles. I'm 5'3" and it goes to about my mid-thigh. It fits me pretty well, and I wear about a size 20 in dresses. It's a little tight, but not too bad. The front has snaps that go all the way to the ruffle part. I think these really make it easier to get on, and the snaps would be covered by the corset. It doesn't have an underwire, but it's not something I would expect on a dress like this.

The corset is made of faux leather. It's brown, and has no boning. There are thicker strips of material though, made to look like boning. It closes with hook and eye closures. It's made to go around the waist of the dress, and look like an olden corset. It even has strings that can be pulled and tied. Something that made me upset is that the dress came in a 3x/4x size, but that must not have been considered with the corset. The hook and eye clasps don't meet well. So I have to clasp them, then loosen the strings to get it on. It doesn't look as good that way though, because there's a huge gap in the front. Corsets aren't meant to be strung that far apart. The two gauntlets are the same way. And they're not even faux leather all around. The bottom part is made from the same material as the dress.

The hat is made from a cheap plastic that seems to be covered in felt. It has a faux leather lining. This lining is supposed to be where you stick the feather in. The feather is made around a fairly thick plastic tube, which you stick into the hat. The only accessory left to discuss is the money bag. It does kind of fit the Robin Hood theme, but it's just a little tacky looking with it's huge gold $ sign on the front. It does function though. You can put something in it, and actually close the drawstring.

I would have gladly given up the hat, feather, and bag to give this set a nice pair of panties or something instead.

You can hand wash the dress, corset, and gauntlets. I'm honestly not sure what to do with the hat.

This is in theory a cute set for a role play or something, but it's really not worth all the trouble in my opinion.
Experience
I love the dress part. I think it fits me well. Usually I wear about a size 20, so I'm always happy to see lingerie in my size. I put on the dress first and adored it. Sadly, I didn't have the same result with the corset or gauntlets. I need extra help from my husband if I try to put them on.

I plan on throwing away the hat and feather or just giving them to my little brother or something to play with. I may hold onto the bag just because it does work.

I do still want to try to role play with this a little bit, but I do wish the accessory size expanded a little bit with the dress size.
Follow-up commentary
I actually threw this whole set away. I found there was no point in wearing the dress when nothing else in the set fits right. I really wish I wouldn't have bought it, because it wasn't worth it at all.

Thank you for your super honest helpful review!
Too bad it didn't work out. Why did you "
I actually threw this whole set away."?
You should have donated it to a thrift store, charity, a place like 'Goodwill'. They would be more then happy to have this costume no matter how bad it is. In the future please consider donating things like this if you can't use them, It's better than them ending up in a landfill and It's tax deductible.
