Raspberry floral sleeved chemise - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Breas

The Floral Sleeved Chemise by DreamGirl is available in red, black, and raspberry. All three colours are available in sizes S-L. I purchased the chemise in the raspberry colour. I usually wear a size XL comfortably, but ordered the size large since it is the largest size available.

The chemise and matching thong arrived folded neatly surrounded by hot pink tissue paper. The tissue paper was the only packaging that the piece had.



Both the chemise and thong are 90% polyester and 10% spandex. The material is very stretchy and I was able to fit into the size L comfortably. I’ve taken measurements of the set, lying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, feel free to send me a message and I can get them for you.

While the chemise did fit me, I prefer lingerie that has a bit of room in it, and doesn’t grab onto my stomach area like this piece did. The material was comfortable when I had worn it, but the bottom of the chemise kept creeping up the top of my thighs. The thong also fit me well, but it was quite low. The thong has a lining in it, and has the same lace pattern that the chemise has.



The chemise has thin, detachable straps. The straps are less than ¼ inch wide, and are similar to bra straps. The loops to attach the straps are located on the inside of the chemise, so if you choose to wear the chemise without the straps, the loops do not stand out. The chemise is thin, but it seems quite durable. I hadn’t found any flaws with the stitching, but I would be careful when wearing the chemise to avoid snagging the material on jewellery, etc.



The sleeves are longer than average, and flare outwards. I wasn’t sure if I would like the flared sleeves, but they actually look quite nice when worn. My partner also really liked the sleeves and liked that the chemise sits off the shoulders. I do like the lingerie, but I do have other pieces that both my partner and I would choose for me to wear over this one.

There is a care tag in both the chemise and thong. Both items should be hand washed in cold water and hung to dry.

Overall, I give this piece a 4 out of 5. The reason that the product has lost a star is because it is not available in larger sizes. Also, while the price is not terrible, I feel that there are similar pieces that are nicer, and at a lower cost.
