Creamy onyx three piece set - bra and panty set discontinued by Escante - review by Hot'n'Bothered

I'll be honest, there are two main reasons I picked this product. (Other than I think it's cute)...

1. The panties are a bikini cut.

News flash. Not everyone is comfortable with thongs, or as I not so lovingly refer to them as 'butt floss'.

2. Functionality.

I was hoping this set would provide just that. Obviously not the middle portion. But certainly the bra and underwear portion. I didn't necessarily WANT something that was for the bedroom only.

The set however, falls short of accomplishing that.

I found the bra to be uncomfortable for any great lengths at time. Due to the fact that the straps have lace nubs running up and down either side; and the fact that the way it fits, the straps run right up next to my arm pits.

The Panties, can be used functionally; provided they fit.

Sizing:

Escante has this as only one size. M and 'One size fits most'.

I can tell you that I am typically a 34c and the bra fits me fine. I don't think it would accommodate anyone much larger than that, however. I was pleasantly surprised at their 'lightly padded' statement. Typically when I've seen this in the past, it's really just two pieces of fabric sewn together. This set legitimately is lightly padded.

The panties, I typically wear a medium. And these fit for .... About a week. (Mild disclaimer, I'm pregnant and near the end of my second trimester).

The skirt has quite a bit of stretch. And even though I'm nearing my third trimester, I can still make this fit. The downside here is it does have a hook closure so there are some limitations in the stretch.

All pieces are 90% nylon and 10% elastine. Manufacturer recommends hand washing. The panties seem to go through the wash just fine though.

Sexy wise, this gets the job done. I think if I were going for just that, it would have been nice to have some lacing on the panties to dress them up a bit. So one would have the option to not use the skirt.

We actually find this piece to be quite enjoyable, still. Perhaps even more so on my part because I have my body back!!!
